This week's guest in the Vital MX forum QNA is Jeremy Albrecht. Whether it's from his riding days, wrenching for Jeff Emig or James Stewart at Kawasaki, helping build the JGRMX team, or his annual Surfercross event, Jeremy has been neck-deep in motocross forever.

Bring your best questions, and he'll be peeking in here this week to answer them. As always, keep it respectful, and ask questions that you would like in a face-to-face meeting.

Ready? Go...

I have no QNA for J-Bone. You usually tell all in your interviews and podcasts and I appreciate that. Keep doing what you are doing and congratulations on your last two races.

You have had the opportunity to work with many extremely talented riders in your lifetime, who would you say was/is the most fun to work with? I'm sure many of us(myself included) consider what you do to be somewhat of a dream job in the motocross industry. With that being said what do you enjoy most about your job and what do you enjoy the least?

If you could take home & tear down anybody's race engine in 450MX, at any point this season, whose would it be, when, and why?

What was the hardest part about building JGR? As always, thanks for taking the time to answer our questions.

What is one true regret during your career in the industry? One thing you look back and think "I'm so glad I chose this path over that path"?

Did JGR actually come close to switching brands before the signing of James Stewart or, was his signing something that brought a better deal to the table with Yamaha?

Tell us the exact horsepower number of that KX 250 from 05 Orlando supercross ^^ Would love too hear how much ponies they were able to get out of her before she got extinct

What do you consider to be the trickest bike youve ever wrenched on in the two stroke days?

Long time fan here so thanks for stopping by.

1)You have been around to see the transitition from box vans to semis, a mechanic to teams of specialists and manfriends and 2 strokes to 4 strokes. Do you feel the racing and or the sport has actually gotten any better or are the bikes, tracks and business in general just different these days?

2)You've been quite successful in the sport for a long time now. How far do you think you could have gotten without your amazing marketing skills?

In your opinion, how much are bike sales impacted by what color bike wins on Saturday?

(If you feel you can't answer that)

How much of the stuff that factories R&D actually make it to production bikes, and how long does that process take?

J-Bone

First of all you guys have one of the best programs going with JGR. Glad to see the success you've had this year and I believe more is coming in the future.

Question 1: As a former mechanic/Team Manager, if you had to pick one particular race throughout your career, what was "that race" where everything seemed to click (rider, suspension guys, mechanic, team manager)?

Question 2: Who is the fastest person you've seen ride a dirt bike? And when?

Question 3: Having worked for factory Kawasaki and now JGR.....What's the limitations JGR has in regards to parts on the dirt bike? You've used Showa and KYB suspension, could you manufacture a complete suspension system if need be? How much better can you manufacture parts in house compared to factory equipment?

Question 4: How did you and James Stewart meet? Was he hard to work with?
Thanks!

Jermey, were you James mechanic when he tested Hondas? (2000-2001?). If so, what knokedge did you/the team have of the test and could you share any other info on it?

How prevelent are drugs in the sport now, and what was the most hard core thing you witnessed/knew about in terms of PED use?

You have two distinctly different riders now. What traits from each would you like to take from each to make the ultimate racer?

While working as James mechanic were there any "racist" comments/situations that made you uncomfortable?

When James Stewart joined JGR it had to bring along sponsorships and build up the teams creditably, how bad did his leaving the team hurt your program? Second when you first started your program your bikes looked like they had so much horsepower that riders had trouble controlling it, now your bikes look like they produce the more usable power than any other bike in the field. In saying that how much horse power did you produce in the begining and how much do they produce now?
