Exactly. What report?

RV has stated that he is injured and these types of injuries can take time to heal. If he came on social media and said he was still injured, people would bitch about that, about not getting more information and then precede to speculate and fill in the gaps on their own.

Some riders would be at each of the races helping the team, doing interviews, helping out in the booth, you know... making your sponsors feel like they got their money's worth.

Not saying he has to do this but one tweet per week would be nice.

How do you know for a fact that he hasn't been in contact with his team? You're going off information that was posted like 3+ weeks ago. How do you know there hasn't been conversations between him and his team over the past few weeks , and why is it any of our business? Isn't that info important between them and doesn't have anything to do with us?

The sports fan base in a whole just thinks they deserve everything now days. Some guys like RV like to keep to themselves in situations like this. Do you see weekly updates from most of the GP guys or the American riders? Go through the top 10 in each series and see how many actually do that......answer , NOT that many!

Just because " some " people want to know what he's doing all the time , the rest of us couldn't give a shit until he actually returns to the track. Their personal life is of no interest to me and it shouldn't be to anyone else either!

I can understand how some people want to know what his status is but you aren't entitled to anything. He doesn't owe you any information and his status between him and his family, him and his team, him and his sponsors, etc. are all none of your business. He has made it very clear in the past that he doesn't want the fame. He doesn't care about chasing records, building a personal brand, etc. What makes you think this has changed?

Nothing new here! Just another reason why I've never been a fan of RV! Winning races and c'ships doesn't make you a "true champion"! RV has always been self serving and I don't think he has ever "given anything back" to the sport! Look at all the stuff James and RC does for this sport, they are the true ambassadors of the sport! On Tuesday, I saw a doctor who confirmed what I didn’t want to hear: I broke my tailbone in four spots. Unfortunately, there’s nothing they can do for it, so basically, we just have to wait and let it heal.
I want to race and plan on riding on Friday. After that we can make the call if we’re going to line up at Valkenswaard. Hopefully I’ll have better news here shortly… – RV

did nobody tell him at that time its gonna take weeks or months to heal from that injury ???

This, I never understood why riders aren't at the track doing PR when they can't ride (understand if they have something like a broken femur where they can't travel, but knee injury, collar bone, etc. Are they still getting paid while injured or are they on short term disability like us regular working stiffs? Anyone know how this works?

I know that if I were the team manager, owner, or sponsor, I would expect my paid riders to be at the track doing PR if they are racing or not, unless they are not able to be there for some reason. I'm sure the travel was already paid.

How bad would it really be. Sit back in a shaded tent and sign autographs for your fans on a weekend with absolutely no pressure to perform.

I just don't get it.
