Cant knock his ability , but if you don't want it , you don't want it.
Funny how "fans" always want what THEY want and rarely give any consideration to what the object of their adoration or scorn might want to do.
Go out at the height of a career and the fans complain they wanted one or two more years. Go out when you're past your prime and the fan complain that they should have walked away when they were on top.
No win situation.
Fan boys need to grow up and get a life of their own and haters need to go back to the mall and make fun handicap people, it's about their speed.
Have a nice day.
He can do whatever the fuk he wants.
Maybe you're a moran. [that's rhetorical]
Hang it up Ryan, these idiots don't deserve you.
"I've lost all respect for Villopoto because he hasn't updated me on his ass"
I mean seriously, just sit back for a second and think about how ridiculous that sounds. He's done plenty for me as far as entertainment over the years, I'm a huge fan and I don't feel he owes me a Fucking thing. He crashed his brains (ass) out trying win a race in a series he's never raced on a different continent.. He deserves respect not a bunch lame insults. Think about it.
2. He is a multi-millionaire at the age of 26, and will never have to work a day in his life again (if he doesn't blow it.)
There are an awful lot of people who have "given" a hell of a lot more to causes then he has given to moto, with a hell of a lot less to show for it than he has, and who have a whole lot better attitude about it.
I'm not sitting on pins and needles waiting for any updates from him, I just think it smacks of unprofessionalism to not even give updates on his condition and/or progress, in an age where doing so literally takes a few seconds and a few keystrokes. Makes zero sense from a PR/marketing point of view.
Even if he doesn't care what people think, there is no reason to tarnish his legacy and go out like this (if this is in fact how he goes out.) You can't blame a guy if he is burnt out and done and over it all, but for the love of Pete, at least try to end it with some class and dignity so that is how you are remembered when you are gone.
Then go into the woods and hunt and fish to your hearts content and never talk to another human if you so desire.
Just my thoughts on it.
We will just pay attention to the professionals who are professional from now on!
RV does not care what people here or elsewhere think.
RV does not care about Matthes.
RV does not care about fans.
RV does not care about team.
Why is everyone so flummoxed about this? It's what allowed him to go over and risk everything in the first place. He don't care. And maybe it's all over but for the check cashin', contractual obligations that got him across the pond in the first place fulfilled.
Pit Row
This isnt 1972... its 2015 , and he needs to realise that.. or maybe it is still 1972 where he is
So either
1, KRT doesnt know what is going on
2, KRT knows and is choosing to say nothing
3 KRT are trying to find out , and are looking at ways to make that happen.
We know Tomac is out for ages , same for Canard , and thats not a secret, this is almost as bad as the JS thing as far as a publicity screw up is concerned.
I also have been a diehard Kawasaki rider my entire life.
So it should have been easy for me to be a fan of Ryan's or at least kind of root for him, but kind of like dumping that hot blonde everybody else is drooling over. I just, for some odd reason never found myself liking him as a professional MX racer.
The first time I ever saw him race in person was at Lake Whitney, Texas when he was just an amatuer on Team Green, and I will say this, I was like, ........Holy Shit!!! This kid is fast!!!! He impressed the shit out of me, thats for sure.
But, when he turned pro, I don't know, just never really rooted for the guy. Oh well, I wish him and his family my sincere best.
I still have much respect for what he accomplished in this sport.
