Yeah I started thinking about this earlier. Each team has a pretty solid number one and two guy. It'll be interesting to see what TC can do when he comes back as well as Stewart.

Baggett has really had a quiet but rather impressive and injury free rookie season on the 450. Hopefully next season he will start hammering it out and moving up.

I'm also hoping the Yamadogs can progressively get better and better. Seeing the improvement that WP has made is crazy. Normally, you would think he has capped out on progress but season after season he gets better. As he gets closer to the top, he'll probably start to plateau, but for now he's still progressing awesomely. I think he has the speed to win a race but his endurance seemed to trail off last season. If he can get that piece of the puzzle worked out, he'll take a few W's this season.

Are you guys sure that Honda "let Eli go?" Is it possible that he and/or his agent were negotiating with multiple teams, and for whatever reason(s) Eli simply decided to sign with Kawasaki? Seems like Kawi would be the team with the most available resources ($) at the time. Honda is still committed to Canard and Seeley. I doubt the Honda folks just "let him go."

I'll bet money had a big thing in it for sure. But I also bet Eli , his dad and whomever else figured it was the correct move to make. I hope they are right. I don't care what bike he's on , as long as he's comfortable.
Do you think that Kawi has made, or will make future changes to accommodate Eli, respecting the rumors about the atmosphere under the green awning? Is it possible that Kawi would allow Eli or his dad to participate in some of the decision making concerning the operation of the team? I agree with you that it is more than just the money. I hope that we see him return to the form he displayed in the 6 motos he raced outdoors. That was some amazing riding, and super exciting to watch.

Lots more questions too:

Hahn or Bogle to Kawi?

CP377 Husky SX?

Will Chad be riding a La-Z-Boy or one of the back massaging chairs?

Herlings to MX1?

J-Law joining Hannys team?

Well... after all, isn't that why the manufacturers do it? Smile

lol i did.

A Freudian slip, also called parapraxis, is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is interpreted as occurring due to the interference of an unconscious ("dynamically repressed") subdued wish, conflict, or train of thought guided by the ego and the rules of correct behaviour. They reveal a "source outside the speech". The concept is thus part of classical psychoanalysis.

Slips of the tongue and of the pen are the classical parapraxes, but psychoanalytic theory also embraces misreadings, mishearings, temporary forgettings, and the mislaying and losing of objects.

You used the number 3 and said "the swap" , both alluding to Tomac and the incident causing his injury.

The Kawasaki bike and team manager are new for 2016 (well the team manager has been there before) . I wonder if Eli got a chance to ride the new bike before he got hurt? Of course none of this could be true and he might be right back on big red next year.

Kawasaki did not change team managers for the motocross team, Dan Fahey is still the team manager for MX/SX.

Bruce Stjernstrom is the racing manger for all Kawasaki racing programs both on and off road.

I wonder if Eli thought he wasn't going to do any better with the 2015 honda then he did with the 2014 on the outdoor tracks and so he signed with Kawi before the outdoor series started.

Lo and behold the bike was better then anticipated. No going back now.

I sure hope that's the case. Teams need to listen to their riders on what works for them and what doesn't. It seemed that they couldn't make Davi happy there , but RV had everything he wanted / needed I think. So I'm not sure and can only guess , that hopefully Eli gets to have some choices outside the box if needed to make that bike comfortable.

Tomac strikes me as a guy that would ride a pink camo bike made in China if it gave him the best chance to win.

Yep. I think it's been pretty well known for a while. I'm kind of a Kawi guy myself , so it will be cool seeing him on a green bike. But in all honesty , I just hope he gel's with that Kawi like he was doing with his Honda. I'd rather see him stay on red if I thought for one second that he wasn't going to like the Kawi or make it work right for him. I don't see how a rider could gel with a bike any better than what he was doing at the first few rounds , was incredible to watch.
What if he isn't even gel-ing with his Honda...

Imagine.
Lol insanity.
