exactly. top 5, are you guys serious? for a guy that hasn't completed an entire outdoor season since his rookie 450 campaign on a Honda in 2006 where he got 3rd O/A, top 5 is a bit of stretch. Maybe that KTM wasn't looking so bad afterall....

I always thought he was one of the kids that had all the natural talent in the world but every weekend in the ams it seemed his parents wanted to be there more than he did. There are many kids like that out there. Hope he is good to go. It's all he knows now.

Considering Monster is probably 100 times worse than whatever it was that he had in his locker.

One more top guy behind the gate is ONLY a good thing.

Who cares what was in his locker? We should all just keep an eye on our own lockers.

Is he running old style 2012 frame like all non-factory efforts?
if you look at the front of the frame, you can tell its a 2015, they really reduced the size of the 2 into 1 Y for 2015.

do you think all the riders are going to be still in it all year ? i d love it if it was true , but history tells that we will lose people to injury by rd 6 and after . i think a couple of top 5 are really really realist for him . as for that KTM how many more riders do you need to same that bike was nt great , DUNGEY, K ROC, SHORT, etc have all said that bike was not good . this years KTM seems to be great .

I see Davi in the 8-12 range unless more guys get hurt then maybe he could do a little better. At his best, I don't think he's a better outdoor guy than Eli, Dunge, Kroc, Reed, Peick, Barcia, etc. etc...and they'll have 6 rounds under their belt. He's never been a great outdoor guy and I realize some of that is due to his kidney issues, but even before that he was a much better SX rider. Not sure why he's only doing the last six, he'd been racing all season and slowly improving, I have to think his race fitness is going to drop off considerably from not taking a gate drop for several months. Plus he'll be coming back in the heat of summer right as we get into the east coast swing. I'm thinking its gonna be a rough go for him.

That will be the excuse, no seat time, bike set up, new bike, past injuries, fitness blah blah blah. , barring injuries, like i said , no top 5., 8-11 if the top riders are healthy.

Is there any organization like WADA or USADA that could show up at his door today and demand a piss test? He was let go from kawi and stopped racing SX, and he hasn't raced any outdoor yet, so is he part of any series that has a governing body monitoring doping? I'm curious more than anything and trying to understand how the piss test thing works. I've heard they do it at the races randomly and also that they can show up wherever you are whenever they want...

Davi's biggest enemy is (what he thought was an iron clad contract). He will push it more if his results are what matters.

He's been at it since he was not much more than a baby. He's over it and would like to be doing something else. And I can't say that I blame him.

We all got to do, what we have to do.
We will see how "over it" he is when he has to get a normal job for normal pay, then I bet the motivation would kick in big time.
