Seems to run good but does have an issue with spitting oil. Running it at 50:1, trying to figure out if I need to lean out the air fuel screw or just rejet. Plug had a coffee color to it.

You can look around on here for opinions on jetting, but I know a lot of KTM 250SX guys end up really liking the Suzuki NECJ needle. I know it worked super well for me. If you're always pinned the stock jetting seems to work ok, but if you trail ride or hare scramble or even just like to ride in a lower part of the powerband the KTM needles just don't work that well. It's probably why they don't use the same series of needles in their XC line as they do in the SX.

Thanks, that's probably the direction I need to go considering I typically lug the bike around.

I'm debating going to a PC link, or getting the whole 2015 linkage for my 2014 250SX. It feels like it rides high in the back.

I put the PC link on my 14 250SX and it made great changes to the bike and the overall handling and feel. PC link and slide the forks up to the second line and your bike will feel much better.

I have the Ride Engneering link on my 2012.5 FE 450 with the forks set on the seconded line bike handles awesome !

Thanks for the info on the linkage. The sad thing is I am starting to get tired of spending money on parts for my KTM, and that new YZ250 at my dealer is looking better and better....

i just picked up the ’15 linkage and knuckle from Rocky Mountain for $180. less than just the PC link. anxious to try it

They are nice bikes, I rode a buddy's it was no where near the motor of the Ktm or handling once you get it dialed in. I would suggest just putting the forks on the seconded line first and see if you like the handling.

Tuck, I put the forks on the 2nd line for the first couple rides this year, and set my sag to 105mm. The bike turned well, but in the rough stuff wanted to dance around quite a bit.

I am back to the first line now, sag set a little lower like 107mm. I'm going to try a link and see how it goes.

Just a suggestion but it sounds like to much rebound couple clicks softer might help and on the shock 1/4 turn more on high speed.

Have any of you guys tried several exhaust systems?

Currently I'm running Pro Circuits works pipe and R304 silencer. Works really well, but I'm starting to get interested in a couple of other pipes/silencers too.

How does Scalvini and Bills Pipes measure up against PC?

Whoops my bad, I had selected 2014 model year, which is $316 for the linkage as opposed to $204 for the 2015.

You'll have to report back how it performs!

I have a TC250. I have run the stock, PC, and Scalvini on the bike. I found that the stock pipe is best for my riding/racing. The Scalvini has the looks and mimics the powercurve of the stock, just a bit less everywhere. PC was nothing special, and folded up like a tin can in a tip over...lol If anyone wants to give away their stock pipe shoot me a pm. :-)

i dropped the needle one ion mine, fattened up the main and went two full turns out on the air screw..

but KTMshane and Digger29 can tell you the super hot setup.

Shauns867, the pipe looks awesome....however, I really can't comment that much on performance because by the time the bike was tested with the pipe on, I had:
1. Replaced the whole exhaust system with the bills pipe and bills 'long
2. Went from a 172 main to a 158
3. Went rom a 42 pilot to a 40

Before the bills exhaust system was installed all i had done to the bike was the jetting and the rm250 necj needle on the 4th clip from top to bottom...it ran shitty. VERY shitty. Super rich.

After the bills pipe exhaust system was installed the bike did run a lot better, however, it was still running rich. The bike was revving higher too but I cant attribute it to the pipe alrhough a lot of people say the pipe will make it rev more.

After testing it out with the bills pipe, i went ahead and dropped the needle another click. That made it run a hell of a lot better. Im still messing with the jetting.

@gameover, a couple questions, what type of riding are u doing/ability, and what kind of terrain are u riding? My bike would explode with your jetting lol, I ride sand vet expert/ moto, I have necj 3rd pos 175 m 45p, 2as, plug is golden brown, I too have the bills combo,vforce4, im running vp c12 straight at 40/1, no biggie as long as its working, these bikes come very lean from the factorty

KTM and Husky are different. I go by plug color and I run 162, stock needle on third clip, 42 pilot and it is just fat enough to handle wide open glen helen hills. @swtwtwtw, I guess cause the diffrence in airboxes? Wow, I never would of thought they where that far off! Either way, I love both bikes, and really dig the look of the huskys, theirs so much u can do with a husky graphics/ wheels wise, love it!

I'm surprised the jetting was so rich. One of my buddy's has a 2014 Husky and runs fhe same jetting as I do in my KTM and his bike straight up rips.

I ride mix of clay and sand mostly and sand at times. Ride very aggressive.
