That go pro view made my ass hurt. I remember trying to impress some girls doing a wheelie down a dirt road once and had a similar situation occur....

Did I ever tell you about the time I split my anus whilst snowboarding?

Hey RV! Keep learning over there Bro. You will be in it to win it soon enough.

Clutch or back brake prevents that. Desalle almost got taken out as well. GP camera crews drive me nuts when they show the mechanics and girlfriends during an awesome battle. Is this a normal thing they've been doing forever or is it new?

It happens a lot that they show the pit crews, but it seemed to happen even more than normal this weekend. It was incredibly frustrating. The most ridiculous thing about it is that the guys in pitlane see the same feed as we do, so they're trying to watch their rider battle out on track, and all they get is a picture of themselves watching themselves on TV

Yup.

From what I’ve heard he doesn’t care much for the traction control. Not sure how much it had to do with the Qatar start and now this. He never used it over here, Oh well just another thing he has to learn. We’re all bummed and bruised for sure. I guess he’ll be testing a doughnut style saddle next.

Brake pedal unneeded on a regular four stroke . the clutch is not conventional. Or the tire was spinning, hooked up when he let off and looped. Clamp it

Lol. That sucks. They need to at least do a split screen or something if they feel like it is that important to show the guys in the mechanic's area.

Track position meant a lot this last round... He was running a pace that with a holeshot and as hard as that track was to pass he could have won. You could probably say that for last round too.
No one could stop Nagl in race 2. He was going 2sec faster than anyone else on track

That championship already exists.... and it's already called the World Championship... and RV is currently racing it. Americans need to start respecting what the World Championship represents.

You can't compare racing a National championship to the World Championship, they are totally different. As Villopoto is finding out.

The World championship is the only fair measuring stick for the best motocross rider in the world. It's pretty illogical and very arrogant to claim a national champion is superior to the world champion. Until the national champion, even the US National champion, wins the World Championship then they can't be called the best in the world, because up until then it's all based on presumption, not reality.

The World Championship isn't a us v them series, it includes the USA because the USA is part of the world, not above the world.

That's what proper MX technique gets you. Also why I don't ride on the balls of my feet as much as I should. 450s got ooomph.

I still believe RV does not have the lines figured out yet...he was clearly taking a lot more rough lines than Desalle. Clearly that Kawi is nothing like the US AMA approved version he was riding here and he isn't fully comfortable yet on the tough tracks. Going to take more time to get figured out but once he does he will be battling tougher with the top 3.

It annoys me that people don't think that same guy would still be able to win here. He is still going fast.

Ah, yes: "Scoreboard."

Really?

The only thing we have that merges the two series to any effect is MXdN/MXoN... Usually NOT in the U.S.A. Sure, it is a once per annum dealie, but the statistics are there. I cannot remember when the U.S.A. last finished off the podium. Does this race determine the best riders? Hard to say. It depends on your perspective. We see riders from both sides rip.

RV2? Heading out on a "Swan Song" lark? Perhaps, but I would not be a bit surprised if he raced another year of GP action. I think RV2 is doing well thus far. He deserves to go out in the manner of his choice.

Let's see how KR and MM do this year in AMA outdoors. I love watching those dudes ride! Speed galore. No animosity against the "Delayed Pilgrims" here. Of course, I want to see Webb and Tomac kick ASS!

I have my tix/passes to High Point and Budds and am thrilled to again see some of the best racing in the world, regardless of where it occurs.
