Well, can't blame RV, as you see, the bike damage. Lots of racing to go yet, all these top guys may have a DNF or two.

I was checking out all the up coming tracks, one looks like large supercross track. Sure as hell looks like a supercross track
to me.

That 350 is a fucking joke on tracks like these, really... That Husqvarna/KTM of Nagl is twice as fast on uphills and out of slow corners, Cairoli should really start thinking about riding the 450, it's nonsense watching a champion like him struggle for a shitty bike like that... Another potential overall lost for him...

Cairoli kinda won the overall anyway, and cant's stress enough how much he'd hate those kind of track.

Not bad, if you ask me, to go home with 47 points out of a track that make you sick.

Non need to step up to 450, he's good enough on his trusty 350.

He's riding with brain directly connected to his right wirst..not even for a second he was in danger to be overtaken by anybody: the very second someone showed him their front wheel, Cairoli would turn his throttle three degrees more and put a safety distance.

The best of Cairoli is yet to come, by May he will be in "take no prisoner" mode as he's always been in the previous ten years

But i have no doubt he would be able to learn it and be a good supercross rider with time, but put him on supercross track right now he would struggle.

DO YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST IN RACING SUPERCROSS?
For me, as a European rider, it’s difficult to adapt to Supercross. I also believe that the racing style is different. I know that I would like to ride Supercross if given the opportunity, and I think that I would do well, but I will stay away from it right now because my focus is on European racing.

Laughing I have to admit, I thought RV was going to continue his dominance this season, but it isn't so. Like Euro guys, Aussies and Africans before him that came to the U.S. and didn't find immediate success, RV is no different.

I have that much more respect for Carmichael now and what he was able to accomplish throughout his career, on home soil or foreign.

Yeah, I remember that. Also, remember his crashes while I was hoping he'd do well. Sometimes it was painful to watch practice and qualifying at SX. Now this isn't criticizing anyone, I respect both riders. Just agreeing with the concept that the different disciplines take a bit of adjustment. Roczen is a good example as is Villopoto this year. Give him some adjustment time. The cream always rises to the top.

I think the throttle stuck. Watch his hand, it's not in what would be his pinned position. I have zero knowledge of EFI so maybe that's not possible but if he was running a carburetor I would bet on it. RV has more control than that. I just watched it a couple of more times, he's off the throttle the second it starts coming up and it continues to pull over.

EH wrong Smile Herlings himself said he dont want to do supercross cause he aint comfortable when he tryed it out, he was actually struggling big time on a smaller more arena cross style of tracks, then imagine yet alone a real supercross track. And ofc you crash its bloody motorcycling racing.
Bollocks,I guess you've seen the clip of him crashing first time out on a borrowed bike while on holiday in the US a few years ago,he's progressed no end since then and from the rest of that footage he's pretty damn good all things considered, not that Herlings and SX have anything to do with the logic

Edit,Jamma put the vid up,that

If Nagl can stay healthy I really think he will win this championship. When he's able to get out front he's able to pull away from anyone.

Get better RV, hopefully we see you at the next round.

I'm sure any mechanic in the GPs can do grips and graphics just was well as Williamson does.
I don't think you grasp what it takes to succeed at that level.

Fair play. I've said it before and I'll say it again the World Championship is the premier outdoor series in the world because everyone is all in for mx ( in USA guys hired more for SX which is the priority) and it's in a range of different countries and tracks with lots of variables.

The US nationals are fast too of course, but for RV he's racing in his own country every week on one style of track, racing the World Championship is a different ballgame don't favour one county and that's why it's the measuring stick for best in the world outdoors.

However, RV adjusted well to the track today but he still couldn't beat his main championship rivals even though he was on their pace that first moto.

When Desalle put a few passes on him in race two I think he got flustered, what happened next was what a lot of us feared for RV on this track.. too much throttle and a big crash. Up till then he had been riding smart and controlled but Desalle flustered him and he lost his composure a tad. Pretty unfortunate he had to DNF though.

But this is why everyone said he had put himself in a hole in the first three rounds on tracks that should have suited him. He had no margin for error by the time he got to round 4. By the second moto he was 29 behind Desalle and 24 behind AC. That's a lot of points to make up and he knew it... then the accident.

I hope he is ok and he is ready for Valkenswaard because he will still win races but now he needs to go 1-1 a few times in a row to get these points back providing the top three don't crash out themselves.

As for Cairoli getting beat by Nagl, Max has won the three of the first four rounds and Cairoli is tied with him on points going into the first sand race of the year and just one point behind Desalle for the lead. That's what AC does! Hopefully Nagl and Desalle can keep him under pressure though, they are riding great.

In the big picture Cairoli has, once again, put himself in a great position for the championship. I think Nagl will be his hardest rival he is better in the sand than Desalle.

Paulin is out of it for me. This was his track. The bike will be even worse on softer tracks.

No. Just no. Herlings is a world class athlete. If you honestly believe he wouldn't come here and do well at SX then you're blind as a bat. Would he dominate like he does in MX2? No, absolutely not. But he would definitely be a contender.

Ofc i believe he could be a contender? But he would struggle as we speak? And ofc he is a world class rider. I would love to see him come over and race, but i guess we never will. Tbh i dont know why he wont race any outdoors one or two tracks, would have love to see him do southwick, even do its different sand he would have shredd that one.

So you were wrong and prove it by quoting the sentence that proves you're wrong? Fair enough...
