KXF front fender looks good, but not the tanker truck looking silencer! Man, that thing is plain huge! YZF ugly still.

I've always wondered why everyone gets Ohlins TTX, Showa A-kit or WP Cone Valve forks for their KTM(not that there's anything wrong with them) when you can also get KYB factory kit forks and shock for the KTM.

Look at the 1988 RM250 and how it changed to the 1990 RM250. Or how the 1989 KX250 changed to the 1990 KX250.

That is radical change, and radical experiments (design risk) will push things forward -- enough refinements! Neither Suzuki or Kawasaki are remotely taking any design risk, and to say this new KX has all new plastics is more than generous. From a visual standpoint, the shroud/tank area is ground zero for a new visual design, and theirs is the same basic look as a decade ago.

KTM is hands down the coolest dirt bike maker in the world, even as cool as HRC in the early-mid 80's. They totally get it.

Because Honda and yamaha have done so well with their radical changes. Changing for change sake is a poor business decision and i think they are learning from the other manufacturers mistakes. i would say the kawasaki looks bad ass as they always do, and if it looses 10-15 pounds with improved handling what else could you ask for?

I own a '13 KXF and it looks a lot different to me. You do realize that half the bikes have a similar shroud design? There's really only so much you can do. It's an almost all new or all new bike and you still have to complain about it. Another KTM fanboy.

OK now I see some changes, Thanks.

Skinny midsection frame. Fat forks. New rear number plates. Longer kickstarter.

I would have to see the engine beside a current one to tell, I'm not a KX guy.

Don't get all mad, I am just asking. What else do you see or should I wait for MXA?

This bike has been the best according to most tests, so this looks significant.

Narita doesnt get the radical new 450 until a few rounds in...that will probably be the 2017 production model, be interesting to see what Honda has done there.

I am very interested in the new Kawi for 2016......hmmmmmm

Looks like Kawi's made some fairly major changes, but what's the POINT with the new side-plates, hmm. Will the 16 KXF front fender fit my 05 Kx 250 ???, I couldn't resist, you saw it here first. Oh, I'm thinking the new Kxf's are on their game, actually, out front of the game.

I would agree there (the last comment), I cant see the other manufacturer making drastic changes until 2017 (Honda and Suzuki?)

Slip.....just so I get this correct , but are you saying if someone owns a KTM 125 , 150 , 250 2 stroke , they can get the same KYB setup as like what the Yamaha's have? What about a shock though?

That is the kit A stuff, which is PSF. I don't think you can buy the old spring ones.

If stock yamaha forks were available, that would be a good option!

I guess so but I'm not sure. I've seen yamaha KYB Kit A shocks adapted to a zook or kawi but never forks?

Like mmcmx said these are the factory psf forks like Canard now runs and the come with the X-Trig clamps to adapt them to the KTM. The shock is in the middle of that list designated as "rcu" for $1750.

You use to be able to get the factory "spring" SSS forks, but like has been said, "air" is here to stay...

I suppose i am in the minority. But kawis have looked the same similar to Suzuki for the past five years or more. The yamaha looks sexy as does the honda.
