That is radical change, and radical experiments (design risk) will push things forward -- enough refinements! Neither Suzuki or Kawasaki are remotely taking any design risk, and to say this new KX has all new plastics is more than generous. From a visual standpoint, the shroud/tank area is ground zero for a new visual design, and theirs is the same basic look as a decade ago.
KTM is hands down the coolest dirt bike maker in the world, even as cool as HRC in the early-mid 80's. They totally get it.

You use to be able to get the factory "spring" SSS forks, but like has been said, "air" is here to stay...
