Maybe this doesnt mean anything, but since the outdoors are under USADA's watch, I looked up the sanctions imposed and I don't see James' name on here anymore. Maybe theres some truth to him being back for the outdoors.

Of note....Look down the list at Lance Armstrong...pretty interesting all the violations!

Interesting. Was his name on there previously? I was browsing that list and saw Michael Lange, cycling, 2 year suspension and loss of results for... STRYCHNINE. Huh

Is strange his name isn't on the list. Not sure it means anything though. Most likely means it's still being protested. I'd think guilty with time served and released to return would still be documented.

Lots of folks on that list with 2 year suspensions for Amphetamines. I'm not sure why so many seem to think the suspension will be cut short.

I love that there was someone on the list in sailing.

LOL! Smile Must have tested the canvas. Any trace amounts (fingerprints/breath) of illegal substance could have been captured. Leaving no rudder un-turned!

It's actually both. USADA upholds WADA suspensions. It was on there back in January. Darryl916 may be right, not there because of appeal. I just find it odd that its not on there now.

CAS decision is final. It`s like a Supreme court.
Stewart can appeal FIM decision to CAS

WADA or Stewart can not appeal CAS decision.
I read this as they can appeal a CAS decision.

As part of its responsibility to monitor Code-compliance by its signatories, WADA has a right of appeal against any decision rendered under the Code.

I stand corrected. You are right.

Decisions of CAS can be appealed to the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland. Appeals of CAS decisions are rarely successful, and generally limited to procedural matters, the sole exceptions being appeals on the grounds that "the award is incompatible with public policy". As of March 2012 there have been seven successful appeals. Six of the upheld appeals were procedural in nature, and only once has the Swiss Federal Tribunal overruled a CAS decision on the merits of the case. This was in the case of Matuzalém, a Brazilian football player.

Making bets with your left testicle...is that why they call them bit-coins? Wink

The hearing is done, and it sounds like it went well, but no official decision yet. It does sound like there will be a final one within the next couple of weeks.

Does that mean a final decision or are there still more hearings/appeals to go?

I won't put my left testicle (at my age, I need all the help I can get!) on the table...but even with the April Fool's angle, I'm betting that we'll see James Stewart on the line at Hangtown.

I'd love for you to be the guy that says "I told you so", but I still haven't seen anything that indicates you can say that.

So Rick knows before the Stewart camp does I guess. Knows info from inside WADA would be the only way. I guess there was a 50/50 chance he would be right.

I have a very good source telling me it will get hot this summer. If that turns out to be true I will come back and say "I told you so" because I want to make it clear that I'm smarter than all of you.
