Although, when I resided (briefly) on a Apalaca ranch in Western Arkansas............

*Ever noticed - there are certain states that have had, apparently, NO motocross racers ever ?

What up with that ?
Welll, that list wouldn't include Arkansas. Tony Wynn (RIP), Mike Bowers, Phil Reed, Ozzie Barbarie (Currently making mains Outdoors), Blake Keeton, and old DirtBikeMike's stepson----cannot remember his name, but he rode AX for several years. Hell, even Ron Turner raced in the Sooie state when he was (briefly) a resident pig farmer.

BTW, I've lived in several states and I can say without hesitation that I saw more side-walk justice handed out when living in Arkansas than anywhere else---and almost all was deserved. Those boys take care of bidness without worry about formalities.......

That would be Brook Fluker. There are a whole slew of other fast guys that have come from this "hillbilly" state. Mark Rakestraw, Terren O'dell, Ron Osburn are a few. Hell, I even got 21st at a couple of Nationals back when we used rocks for wheels.
