Thanks for an exciting race. Passing Roczen for the win was icing on the cake.
Congratulations again.

I think just about everybody was happy to see him win. I think Trey is at the level where he can go that fast and be comfortable at that speed. He pulled away from Roczen last night and looked smooth and in control. I would love to see him go on a win streak and close that points gap. Then we would see some great racing. Plus I would love to see him win a tittle because I remember someone saying that he will "never win a championship"Smile

Trey is doing amazing things. How many could still push the way he does after having the severe injuries he has?

I don't understand why there is threads about Roczen would have won "if" this or that would have happened. Trey did an awesome job passed RocZen for the win fair and square while continuing to hold him off. That had to be one of Trey's best rides. He looked flawless out there tonite. Good for him. Hope to see more to come with him. I don't think an extra lap or anything would have helped Roczen either.

Solid fast paced laps by both of them. Nothing dirty and both of them giving their all. Couldn't have asked for much more. Both of the their bikes appeared to be dialed in pretty good for the track too.

I think the work HRC is putting into the team is showing between him and Seeley

And Tomac for that matter. Their bikes have looked like they have been working a lot better the last two weeks.

Did anyone notice Trey seemed to be pushing down over the bars more last night than his normal centre of the bike cornering position?

Yeah for the last 5 laps but somehow the gap always went back up.

KRoc had it to within .8 a few laps but TC took that 1/2 a second back every time. Good race though.

After reveiwing the initial pass he made on 94, it looked a lot like the pass he made on Reed when he jumped into the back of him. He assumed Kenny was going outside so he OJ'd the double to the inside and made the pass. In this case he predicted correctly and Kenny did run outside, but I could see how the pass could have ended with a similar conclusion if Kenny came to the inside to protect his line.

Yep^^^^ If the guy beside you is faster ( Trey) and he is in the air already committed and you ( Reed) pull over in front of him to block his (trey's) line chances are you're going to get hit. Its a cheap way to try and stay in front of the faster guy (Trey) but it has its consequences.
After watching Reed take his team mate out last night I can see how desperate he is now for positions.

Awesome job Trey, I was a bit disappointed with Wey but KRoc passing Trey was going to be another whole story from just reeling him in. it was a great ride by both and I think we would have had the same outcome either way, congrats to TC41 just makes me made I didn't pick him for the W in my league lol

I thought the same thing...that Reed just Canard-Jumped in front of Grant. If Grant would have moved over/stopped short/turned, his boss would have landed right on him.

Trey Canard had last night figured out. Good for him. It is good to see Trey win.

He still had to pass Dungey and Roczen to take the lead....Not an easy feat in itself.

Yep, a whole lot of nervous laps with them that close together and both riding at what appeared to be close to the edge. They were on the gas but in control. Canard has really stepped up his SX game so far this year. Very impressive and he still has a couple of local rounds to come. If Tomac doesn't string some together pretty soon and barring any misfortune from Dungey, Roczen, and Canard this is shaping up to be a great race to the finish without him. If Canard can string together some wins in the next few races lookout. Great series so far, just hope they all remain injury free until the end.

Exactly! Good stuff, I'm hoping it can come down to a close points championship between RD, Trey, Roczen and Tomac, to get to Vegas with maybe 10 points separating them all would be awesome. That's a lot of hoping though Wink All 4 healthy for Outdoors would be just as good. Smile

I am no Reed fan but I disagree totally with your last statement dude, the incident was a racing incident with Grant just as it was with Canard, riders are entitiled to try jumping into the inside line just as riders are entitled to protect the inside line

Fair play to Trey, a well deserved win. Sounds like Kenny misjudged the number of laps towards the end, so a few more and we could have had a real good battle for the win! Nevertheless Canard proved he owned the race.
