Was I the only one that was totally impressed with this kid?? I thought he killed it for the first time commentating especially at his age.. Kids got a great future after hopefully a long successful moto career..

On another note.. I cant wait to see him line up with Cooper.. It's going to be some great racing!!

Very well spoken young man for sure. Did his folks make him go to school or was he home schooled? Either way, the kid speaks the king's well and seems extremely mature for his age.

Congratulations Adam, they finally dropped!

I though at first he was joking with the low voice...

Was very impressed with him. For such a young kid to be able to convey his knowledge of the sport in such an intelligent and interesting way was great. He was the best in the booth

He was trying very hard to sound articulate and mature. If he's this good now a few more years and he'll own the booth.

He did a fine job. He does, however, say 'rode' when he should say 'ridden', and makes another similar grammar mistake that I can only seem to recall when I hear it. I thought if any rider could transcend that particular offense it would be him.

Jeff actually corrected himself on the last lap of the 450 main. He goes, "Trey Canard has rode--ridden a flawless race up to this point."

I teared up a little.

Yeah I caught that too. But you could hear the occasional pause as he mentally searched for the correct phrasing. He definately gets it...just needs more time in the saddle so to speak.

I just like the kid. He's easy to be a fan of.

I'd imagine if Ralph shaheen grew up racing he would be a better announcer. Shaheen has no insight and therefor sucks behind the mic.

Sorry but I disagree. Ralph is dedicated and is a-ok in my book.

Go watch some late 80s early 90s Daytona video... Ralph has been around a lot longer than people think. And irrespective of that, it's not his job to provide insight. That would be Fro, the colour guy.

It was hard to tell who was the guest and who was the paid guys there. He tried a little hard to sound "old" but he comments were spot on and they let him talk them out. Much better to hear then the canned remarks heard from Jan-May.

overall a great job.

You know you're a fan of AC when you can spell his surname without hesitation.

It wasn't his first time. He was in the booth once last year and I actually thought he did a better job then than now. That's not to say he didn't do well this year though

He's better than RC that's for sure. He was actually quite constructive in what he said and didn't dribble on.

He's a precocious little shit Smile

During the broadcast they were discussing riders settling for position and said "And you know as well as I do Jeff, that when you get a sniff of the podium..."

Im like, here is an eighteen year old kid with no professional titles to his name just casually comparing himself to a multi-time champion and a legend of the sport! Not that there was anything wrong with what he said necessarily, it's just his boldness made me smile.

I wouldn't say he's off base with that comment. That kid has "sniffed" more podiums than 99.9% of other humans. He simply meant winning is addictive. Once you know on any night that you are a podium contender, you are forever a podium contender in your, and everyone's mind. Adam won his very first SX race, and in fine style if I remember correct. I'd say he's definitely qualified to speak on how it is to know what it feels like to be in the podium hunt.

Just saying. I don't think it's IF he will be a champion, I feel WHEN is a more appropriate question.

seems strange to see pro circuit bikes out front!!

nobody can doubt this kids speed/ talent. It would be great to see him have a good run without injuries and see what he is really capable of...

Sure, he's a great rider and don't get me wrong, Im not hating on him. I think he's a cool kid, a lot of fun on the Pulpshow and gives a good interview etc.

I just find his self assuredness unusual for someone of his age.

I totally get where you are coming from. Takes some special genetics to have it that together ever, even more so at that age.

Irony....

other than using the word lethargic, he sounded scripted. He talked as though he was Tye Kadys buddy but yet pronounced his name wrong. I think for the most part he was told what to say
