My pitties love the track and people are usually ignorant enough to think Pitties are vicious dogs so they shy away. But when (usually) girls see the 2 snugged up like this at the track they can't help but come over.

The is "El Flaquito". He is a Lurcher(Hound and collie mix). He is the best single track Mtn biking dog out there, no chance you can catch him, and he stays out of your way on the wide open decents. He can also catch a frizbee 6 feet up in the air. He is my best friend. He could care less about bike noice as well. Chicks dig his soft fur and the fact he looks like he is wearing mittens and a scarf. At the track he just sleeps under your canopy in the shade. I picked him up at the Dog pound as he was a surrender.

A good Moto dog is a dog left at home not at the track there just another danger.
Can't beat a French bulldog though

Other than his size (145#), this dude is awesome. Chicks dig him, he is a big baby until someone he don't know starts to intrude on his space. It amazes me how he knows where the property lines are and how he protects the wife's cats. Only problem is you better have a shovel with you if one of these decides to take a dump. Great Pyreneese is the breed. He was at the vet when I took this picture, he wasn't too happy with me that day.

They are great dogs. When I first bought the track I had 2 of them here. Chicks did dig em. Very protective if their flock also.

Adopt a dog from a shelter!! Joey's dog Lucy is a shelter mix of Jack Russell and Rottweiler!!! The white one is Fredrik Norens pup Vinter. They are best friends!

I got a pitbull/lab(pittadore). Grew up at the track and jobsite. Climbs ladders to chill on thereof with me, fetches like no other, duck dives underwater for rocks and will die for my wife and kids. Also he doesn't mind playing dress up with my daughter.

Australian Cattle Dogs often called blue or red heelers are a very robust dog. The ones I had didn't tolerate other dogs at all though. They're bred for herding cattle and do so by nipping at their heels so they'll do this to anything that runs. They can run fast, jump well and can really take some punishment. Kinda like Chad Reed; after all they're australian! Get to be around 45 lbs. Some breeders dock their tails for some reason as they have very pretty tails. Broad shoulders and quite different looking with their mottled markings.

Don't confuse them with Australian Shepard's, a longer haired dog with the mottled appearance. Those dogs in my opinion can be a bit sketchy with an aggressive and schizoid personality, not a good mix.

My brothers Lab, Roger, and his Father in-laws dog (breed?) Ned back in '09 training my nephew...
Both gone now. Ned got bitten by a snake and Roger had to be put down last year as he had some serious health issues.Sad

I love dogs. My Dobe "Chopper" meets all your needs and is my best friend. Very smart and protective, but also affectionate and a great sense of humor. Everybody always greets him at the races. Good luck choosing, there's all sorts of great pups out there.

This is Bailey-- Weimaraner/American Bulldog mix. Crazy combo but has turned out to be a great dog and is now at 15 months old.

Everyday I look forward to going home and seeing her, she makes my day. Smile

I have had Rottweilers for probably 30 years and wouldnt have any other. They love kids,love to play,love riding in the car and will protect you and your family like no other. Just make sure you get a well bred dog and most importantly make sure when its a pup you take it out and expose it to as many people as possible. If not they get very protective. My dogs have always loved going to the track (Moto and drag strip) and if there is 200 people at the track they will make 200 new friends.


Oh did I mention play? Rottweiler's can be ten years old and they still act like a 10 month old puppy 24/7.

Easy, French bulldog is the best breed for Motodog. Fact if you buy a french bulldog you will be 2 to 3 seconds a lap faster.
You need proof.
RV2 has a pack of French Bulldogs (Having more than one is probably why he's so dominant)

Yes Labradoodles don't shed their coats. Also great with people who are allergic to pet hair!

You want a chick magnet, get a Samoyed puppy.
Besides that, no much of a moto dog. Can't use them to guard your stuff since they are super people oriented. They'll welcome thieves, might even go with them if the thieves are friendly or have threats.



Even as adults, people will stop and want to pet them. When I go to see my girls in college, I usually bring the dogs along. Pretty soon there is a bunch of people around wanting to pet them.
