I foresee problems with manufacturers and contingency money in somebody's future. Manufacturers like recognizable bikes that they sell on the showroom floor. To the passing eye you see blue buffalo but it's difficult to tell that it's a Honda.

I suggest you look up what "net worth" means. I'll give you a start - Net worth is everything you own, minus what you owe. So if you have a $5.0M house and owe $3.0M on it, that's $2.0M in equity towards your net worth. You seem to be suggesting that "net" equals liquidity which it doesn't.
