Bachelor's and Master's degree in counseling psychology. I work for one of the Native American tribes in Oklahoma, under a federal grant to treat adolescents struggling with substance use issues, out of the University of Oklahoma counseling and social research center. We just finished a collaboration with a therapy institute out of the University of Miami, which was a great experience I am very thankful for. Also, on the side, an associate editor for an American Psychological Association publication for ethnic minorities. I feel blessed to be able to do something I love for a living. Some day I would like to mix my passion for psychology and motocross (cycling too) and do some sport psychology work on the side with athletes.

Im a Quality Engineer, I measure stuff for a living , did 12 years in motorsports in F1 and WRC ,Indycar/Nascar , but back in mainstream industry doing Aerospace and military stuff, which is a bit dull by comparison but gives me the time off to go race SM in Europe , and announce at one of the national race series here ... the weeks we don't do that , we go to GP's , and on the off weekends me and my boy race MX

I also ran a motorcycle dealership , and like was mentioned before , it gets old real quick.

Best advice I can give is to earn as much as you can doing something you are good at , to pay enough to buy your toys...

Thanks Hank. My wife and I are both Choctaw Nation members.

This has to be a Vital record. 4 pages and no fights yet. I guess that happens when you let everyone talk about themselves.

CNC machinist for going on 9 years now. I do a little bit of everything, from CAD and programming to setting up and running lathes and mills. Great job, and it pays good enough I can afford to keep a few bikes in the garage.

Senior advisor, product development, Arctic Cat Inc.

I mainly test chassis, track, and suspension designs and their overall production viability. I live and work in Wyoming but I do spend around a month per year in Thief River Falls.

I also make money selling and leasing of suspension designs I create and patent. Mostly R/C car stuff. I raced R/C professionally for a couple years in the early 2000's and cut my engineering teeth as a product designer for Associated Electrics. I designed the V2 Factory Team shocks.

That is very cool! The tribe I work for is the Chickasaw Nation, though we serve member from all other tribes. From some of the historical trainings I've had to go to, the Chickasaw and Choctaw tribes were once one before they split. Keep on keeping on and happy holidays!

I work at a college as a janitor even though I feel like I'm smarter than most of the people who go there. Sometimes I see an equation written on a blackboard like half an equation and... I just figure it out.

Show me the money.

I love welding. But have only done a little of each kind and have never used a plasma cutter. Still I'd like to put a decent TIG (that won't melt the transformer off our rural power pole) in the shop and weld/fabricate stuff, do repairs after I retire from my day job.

Yellow Zonker. I'm ATC in Canada. Awesome career.

Nice! Center/Tower/Flight Service? You live where it is really cold in winter. But jealous of your access to the rockies. Friends in Edmonton send me photos once in a while of the Rockies....WOW!

Engineering Manager is my title. I work at a medium sized family owned machine shop that supplies UTC with stampings , CNC machined parts , welded assemblies, etc.
Most of my time is spent writing, reviewing, changing processes, and generally trying to make better parts for less money. I put out a lot of fires though.
I have worked at the same place since 1980 - I started as a tool & die apprentice while in high school.
Some days are pretty good, but there are definitely some crappy days. The pay and hours are good though. I'm also pretty lucky because my boss(s) are nice people and treat me well.

I was kind of in the motorcycle industry as an insurance adjuster for motorcycles and off road stuff. I recently moved on to doing property though. I do miss talking about motorcycles everyday.

I'm guessing you don't work in high production factory judging off of how many jobs you do, more on the smaller custom side?
I hope I can get into a job like that, I can do it all, I don't want to stand in one spot and do one job everyday.
