I'm still kind of new to the forum but I was a lurker for a long time. MES got me to finally join. It's been cool to chat with fellow MX guys since I've been out of the scene for so long. For those who don't know, I started racing at age 4 but was paralyzed waist-down during a race when I was 12 yrs old. The wreck itself is a long story and ever since then I sort of disappeared from the scene. I never stopped watching SX/MX, pretty much have never missed a televised race. I've gone to a few SX races in Oakland and San Francisco and once to Hangtown (my local track) for a season opener. I never went back to any local races or stayed in contact with anyone, it was too painful not to be riding anymore. I'm 29 now though and enjoy sharing my racing background with people. Anyways, here's some old pics of me riding. These are mostly the last few years before the accident, between 1998-2001. I had a support ride with Pro Circuit/Splitfire during my last 3 years on the junior minibike team. I raced 85cc 7-11 / 12-13 yr old, Expert, and Supermini classes. Sometimes raced Schoolboy class if they didn't have enough of us for supermini. I rode a Kawasaki KX80 & 85. Both bikes fully tricked out to the max.
