If any of you are like me then you've always wanted a pair of Airbrakes but that $160 price tag has always kept you from picking up one or two of them. But right now BTO has select Airbrake models on sale for $96 ($64 off) and if you use the Pulp code it gets dropped to $85. And you get free shipping, so it's basically half price. Just thought I'd post this in case anyone has been holding out on them hoping for a sale.

Hey, VetMXr, if you like the Scott 89's, I have a bunch that I would like to sell. I converted over tot he Tyrants. I have like 4 or 5 pairs of the 89's and a bunch of extra lenses and accessories. Looking to sell the whole lot.
$84 is still about $34 more than I'd be willing to spend on a pair of goggles.
For the price of 10 pairs of Oakley Airbrake's you could buy a nice used bike off of craigslist.
If you need Gogg's? You contact a guy you know.

I mean they're OK but the quality is far from Oakley standards.
I still think the Airbrake is overpriced however, but at $84 it's not far off. You do get the strong protective lens. Also the sold-seperately Oakley roll off system for the airbrakes sets the standard for clear vision IMO.
It's a game changer for comfort and visibility.
1. Due to the style, they have a bend in the lens you cannot flex which for me makes pressure points across the face.
2. There are visible gaps near the nose piece and along the bottom. Seems like a perfect place for dust and water to migrate into your goggle and mess up vision.
3. Fills the entire goggle area. There is no room to adjust the fit. Could have gotten s, but with decreased size comes decreased field of vision. Lotta reviews mentioned the s doesn't have that much more vision than a pair of goggle half the price.
If one of my friends had an s laying around or they were in a bike shop, I'd give them a test fit.
