So the Red Bull Straight Rhythm will be 16 riders in each class (250/450). Head to head bracket and best 2 out of 3 for each head to head round. Assuming all the big dogs will be there.

Will any of the guys be debuting their new rides?

Will the new 450 riders be on 450 or 250 until monster cup?

And who you got making the semi-finals (4 riders per class)?

The straight rhythm seems like an easy way to get hurt to me imho.

its a redbull event, almost all red bull riders will be there.. unless they have it as a optional... it could have been in contracts this year.. who knows.

I know last year dungey went over to do that fab 5 or fast 5 race in europe just because it was redbull

One thing I hope we see is the ability for riders to do different rhythms, triples, quads, quints. In addition to being a jump filled drag race, I'd like it to have the ability to showcase rider creativity. The video of the last Straight Rhythm it seemed everyone was doing the same stuff as the guy next to them.

Well there's generally one fast line through a rhythm section... See Toronto of this year for proof of that.

To accomplish this the rythem builder needs to make each lane different and to balance the scoring each pair takes a trip down each lane per set....then we might see some creativity!

Kenny can hold his own in the scrub department, too. Provided it's not just open to Red Bull athletes, and Trey shows up, he's been known to keep it pretty low as well.

That's what I don't want to see, everything come down to scrubbing. I think making two different rhythm lanes might end up creating a fast lane and a slow lane. I'm not exactly sure how to go about creating it, but damnit I've done it on MadSkills MX so I know it's possible. LOL I've been side by side with someone, then cleared an extra jump and got out of sync and into a completely different rhythm than the guy I was racing, and maybe pulled a slight gap or he would pull one and then after a few jumps we end up side by side again. Maybe include several singles? Hell, I dunno. I just wanna see someone pull a "WTF did he just do?" type combo.

That would be damn near impossible to do at the super high speeds the original straight rythem had.

What would be really cool? Have a super tech side where riders aren't going more than 30 mph or so down the whole way filled with super crazy straight up tech obstacles. Then on the other side had the traditional fast/scrub course

Of course I live in fantasy land
