Here is another blast from the past. Check out the over grown SX track on the NW side of the outdoor track. Can anyone guess without zooming out to cheat?

Im gonna guess Carmichael's....you have to remember these guys own probably a good amount of land...If I were a top pro rider Id probably own 200+ acres and put my tracks right in the dead center to keep neighbors off my back.

Can anyone guess this one?

Back off the 76 towards Indian Wells. MC's secret test track.
No.

Private track called Thunderhorse Ranch. Very fun place to ride. It is close to MC's new place though, and he used to ride there as well.

Do you do other types of resurrections, or just threads that have been dead for 3 years? Laughing

I'm glad this thread was resurrected - I've been trying to find the Indiana National track on Google Earth and can't seem to be able to. The location on the MX Sport website is given as:

Ironman Raceway
1389 W 200 S
Crawfordsville, IN 47933

40.010585, -86.929117

All I can find is Tom's Marine Sales. Is it possible that the track is so new that it's just not there yet? Does anyone know how long the Ironman track has been here?

Thanks to anybody who can enlighten me.

No way it'll show up. I think the track has only recently been carved out - maybe a year...

DC was posting pics a year ago of just the space, without any clearing done yet.

HaHa Good One. I didn't realize that in the Vital MX Forum Rule Book it stated that No thread should be resurrected after a certain amount of time. If you would like I will start a thread abd RV or JS7 or the Silly Season, or Stroupe or J-Law..... Ah hell they were all taken already every day of the week.

Thanks - I thought Google Earth was updated every 2-3 months but I guess not.

You certainly could have found worse threads to bring back to life. I bet Guy could point you in the right direction...

If you really want to start a new thread that's unique, try something along the lines of what the best oil is, or why a 4 stroke is better/worse than a 2 stroke, or even something on how Tony Alessi is crazy. Laughing Wink
