It doesn't look good for Mike winning the Canadian MX1 title, so what does he do for 2015. Go back to Canada, or stay here in the States. Personally i think he needs to stay in the US and run the AMA series.

I think he should run SX in the States for some seat time and run the Canada nationals when they start up in 2015 because he will have a good shot at the title. It's got to be a pretty big blow to Team Alessi if they don't win the title. I think they went in pretty confident that they would take it.

It must be a real blow to team Alessi that they won't be able to lock this title up. I'm sure they went over there because they saw Mike winning the championship as a sure thing. Shit, I saw it as a sure thing. Metcalfe won it last year and I feel that Alessi has always been faster than him.

He made some great gains in SX this year. I think that's the positive to his year, and wrapping up the Canuk championship or having another solid year outdoors in the AMA series next year would accomplish about the same end.

Alessi has the speed and talent. He also has many distractions that have hurt his career

I'd actually like to see it. Luongo and the Alessis deserve each other.

Ryan and Mike both doing the GP's would be a hoot. Europe could get the full effect.

Is he signed with motoconcepts for 2015, or Will motoconcepts even field a team next year?

Mike should just go into drag racing he has a great reaction time and that's it. He obviously missed his calling

Ooh that's a burn.

MCR said they will never race the US Nationals ever again. So if Mike is racing with MCR, he won't be in the US next summer

That is no joke, those top guys in that NHRA got to make a decent living. I don't know if Tony could screw it up either....

Obviously you are an idiot. Have you ever won a national? NO? Then shut the f*ck up about him only having a good reaction time. He deserves some respect. Yes his dad is an idiot..I will agree with that.

It was a great decision for Mike to run the Canadian National even if he doesn't win the championship. What does a top five prove in the States on a non-factory bike?

I'm not following you...?

Wouldn't a Top 5 in the Nationals here carry a little more weight than a Top 5 in Canada?

Even though he probably won't win he has clearly been the fastest rider just has had some bad breaks. I think he's got to be confident coming into 2015 and should try his luck in the states.

He already finished 2nd and it didn't help him get a ride.. So it proves that he will never get a factory ride...

Maybe in the past he was faster but I don't think Alessi would have beat Metcalfe this year. He's been shockingly consistent and fast. It would be close though.

When it comes to outdoors. Mike is one of the best. If you want to admit it or not he is a top guy. I am not a fan boy but I do like him. HHe belongs here in the states. It's a total failure if he does not win the Canadian title but he would smoke all of those guys here.

I know moto concepts wants to probably stick it to the man by not racing the ama series but as we can all see, the series is going on with out then. I want to see him back in the states where he belongs among the best as a top 5 of podium guy

He is the fastest guy here in Canada but has had some really bad luck.

not to take anything away from the canucks at all, married one 35 years ago but a top 5 in the states means quite a bit more than top 5 north of the border imho

What has kept him from locking up this title? I haven't followed the series, but figured it would be a foregone conclusion when the season started.

It didn't help him before. Why not try something else. He finished 2nd in 2012 as a privateer.
