Thanks to the people that care and have had positive input. I don't know how or I would do it myself so I'm asking GuyB or my friend OCScottie, please delete this post, it's just turned into ignorant pissing contest.

TR72moto I hope you find your bikes that sucks. You and your son built bike together and some Azz holes steal them. I feel ya when I was 5-6 I remember when some scumbag that weighted 300lbs stole my pw50 that my dad bought for me and worked on it together and i felt like someone stole my heart.

I have a 2 yr old son know and bought him a pw50 that Im building it up for him and he loves it every time we walk threw they garage my son runs to his bike and jumps on it. My wife has to take him out the front door when I'm not here because he throws a fit crying and going crazy. He loves his pw50. I have a CRF450 too and I have insurance on that and our new enclosed trailer but its the bike that counts the time you and your sons time building it together. Hope you find it. If not hope you get enough money back to build another one. Good luck!

Hate to hijack this thread and turn it away from the racist ranting and school yard bickering it's become but just a little up date on what I think the original post was. Last Thursday night around 10:30 got a call from the CHP, they had found my trailer, of course it was empty but at least I had my trailer back. Today 7/29 had another call from the CHP, found the RM65 in a residential area just lying on the sidewalk in Pittsburg CA. I would believe it's safe to assume the CRF150 is also in Pittsburg being wheeled around, hopefully it will show up to. Sorry for twisting the tread around, back to your school yard bickering.

When I was a kid my KX 80 was stolen. My dad and I drove around looking for it. We found it leaning up against a house in a questionable part of town. Turns out they didn't put premix in it and seized it, I was just glad to get it back. Hopefully they didn't fuck yours up too bad.

My insurance told me they would cover anything without a motor. if it had a motor I had to get specialized insurance.

My understanding is that if it has a tittle it is not covered under your homeowner's insurance. I have State Farm home and auto insurance but my bike is covered against fire and theft with Geico for $106/year. State Farm did not have a simple fire/theft policy for my KX 450. Additionally I have 2 Akitas 120 and 130 lbs. If there is anything left after they meet the dogs I have a couple of Glock .40's.

I'm sorry to hear about the theft but glad to hear that slowing items are starting to show back up. Is the 65 still running? I could see some thief hotwheeling around on it since they don't care about the bike and blowing it up then abandoning it. Even if you get everything back I don't know about you but I would still be upset knowing someone was abusing my equipment.

I guess the theft is going up everywhere. A coworker of mine just had his toyhauler stolen from his sideyard. He had his gear, kids gear, his bike, kids bike, tools, and lots of other misc. stuff in it. The kicker is from my understanding he was home when it was stolen. He was doing something in the garage and then needed something from the trailer. Went around the house and it was gone. It was parked there earlier in the morning and sometime in broad daylight stolen. Apparently there has been a rash of trailer thefts in our area.

But hey, just keep in mind that Obama has told us the economy is recovering so the theft should stop any minute now, right?

Never give up looking! I found a bike stolen from me in 2003 (first big bike) on craigslist and thankfully I still had the title. Took the asshole to court and come to find out he has stolen from my grandparents before and done jail time over it. I got to sit and listen to the judge list everything the guy had done since the early 80's. There are a few other stories I have about theifs but some of them frequent this forum and have had some SERIOUS karma come back to bite them in the ass! HAHAHA. Hopefully these SCUM get caught.

That's a pretty good coverage plan you have there. I'm sure after the dogs were done with them, they'd be beggin to be shot, to end the pain.

TR, glad you got some of your stuff back, hopefully the last bike will show up, too.

Of course it was in Pittsburg, should have known. That's a good sign though, my bet is both are in the area and the rm had regular gas put in it, causing it to seize and be left there. I'll keep an eye out for the Honda, I really hope it turns up soon!!!

As for the people in the pissing match, if you don't live in this area, then don't judge what people are saying.

So the bikes not to bad, bent the ASv-1 clutch lever, bent the shift lever, broke the kick starter, graphics are a little f up and it only has 50psi of compression. I had just rebuilt the complete engine a year ago, rod, seals, bearings, piston, new clutch, etc had 0 hours on it. Couple o bucks and it will be all good, gotta hit up MotoPro for some new graphics. Boy has some new Shift gear comin from Motosport and his other CRF150 (identical to the stolen one) should be finished by the end of next week (his birthday) and not to "spam" or plug Fox but I worked for them 30+ years ago for about 3 years and to this day have always worn Fox, my son Shift. Greg Fox has graciously hooked my son up with some gear, class act, class company as it always has been. July has been a rough month, ready for it to be over !!

Gonna have a hard time getting it started. Damn thieves left the fuel on and it's probably flooded now.

but seriously - congrats on getting it back...hope you had insurance on it when it was stolen initially! And I hope it caught on fire when the thief was riding it.
