Like I said, this is just passing information from what has (so far) been a reliable source. I have absolutely ZERO agenda here. But i do also absolutely respect and even though Vital gets a bad rap because some people are just immature and keyboard aggressive warriors, this is in FACT a place to read industry news before it breaks.
Please don't attack the guys who try to share info...it's all in good intentions. I figured you all would want to know before other people. And by attacking the legitimate, heart in the right place people, you will lose resources.
I don't have much more worth sharing, but if I do, i'll share..

My take? It's sort of an unenforceable rule.
Years ago, I did a ride along with the East L.A. Sheriffs mountain bike patrol. In one section of the projects there, they said, "This area is known for heroin use." We came around a corner and they stopped three people. Two of them had track marks. They used one guy as a demo "dummy," showing how they'd shoot in their arms and the damage the drugs would do to the veins there. Then he was pulling the guy's collar aside, and talked about how they'd shoot in their neck...or between their toes.
At no time during the event may a rider receive any type of intravenous hydration, unless such hydration is deemed medically necessary by medical personnel as a result of an emergency medical situation (i.e., heat stroke) encountered by the rider during, or as a result of participating in, any practice, qualifier, moto race or other activity in the event.
b. Once a rider receives such hydration during the event, the rider will not be permitted to compete in any further event activities, including but not limited to, any further practice, qualifier, moto race or other activity in the event, unless and until the rider is released by the medical personnel who treated the rider for the specific emergency medical situation at issue.
c. Any rider who receives medical treatment from the event medical director and where such treatment includes the recommendation that the rider be transported to an emergency medical treatment center, said rider shall be prohibited from competing or participating further at that event.
There was no penalty applied, but James also did miss the second moto at Millville due to being disoriented.
Once caught they are now going to try and spin it as "Well. ummm, yea, I have a nurse at every race who says she gives me I/V's between motos..... but she is mistaken. It was only post race for recovery....Really!!!"
That is waht I am suggesting.... and nothing else.
Entirely plausible... Do you disagree?????????/
There's nothing to it. Anyone who really wanted to cheat that bad could learn to do it with a 5 minute youtube video.
This has got to be BS.
Pit Row
I think everyone has had the suspicion IV's were going on in Motor homes between moto's Now we know,
If this story is true, somebody needs to tells James' camp that loose lips sink ships.
His personal nurse stated she gave him I/V's between motos......WTF more evidence would you need?
