An IV is "forced" hydration. It is used as a Prophylactic.
The Shop
-James doesn't start the second moto
-James retires to his motorhome without telling his team what he is doing
-James tells his team that he quit because he is dizzy
Was James laying the foundation here for a pre-textual justification after he knew he was caught?
Your original post implied that allowing IV for treating a life threatening condition is the same as routine use for people to gain a competitive advantage. It's not.
If you read the rules, or even if you read a few posts in this very thread where the rules were stated verbatim, you'd know that IV treatment is allowed where it is deemed necessary by the medical staff.
I have no doubt an IV would be very beneficial, but to say he couldn't even race without it? Don't buy it
Pit Row
The rule definitely doesn't say that once you hydrate through a vein, you are completely done for the day. It probably should, but it doesn't appear to be written as iron clad as it should be.
Sure does create a grey area for MX.
in any situation, JS7 has been treated as guilty in all instances before proven that way which is crap, but typical of the world we live in...build people up to tear them down...
Anyone posting this 'information' without a full fact filled press release is just a troll...nothing more...I'll wait for the facts before I pass judgement...
Especially since there is a certain Monster backed rider that failed a test and what have we heard about it? crickets...
it's all bullshit, yes JS7 broke the rule with the TUE...not saying it wasn't broken...but if someone else did as well and we don't have a name to crucify then it's a witch hunt...said it before, still see evidence of it...
