The way it was explained to me was that if RV stays here in the U.S., it'd be RV and Davi under the Monster Energy Kawasaki tent, and Eli would likely end up at Discount Tire Racing/TwoTwo Motorsports. But if RV's not around, it'd be Davi and Eli at Kawi.

The Brayton to BTO rumor is solid.

You realize that they've been testing for years on the SX side, right? And that one year RV was one of the riders who had to let WADA know of his whereabouts at all times, and could be tested at any time?

The rider is always the one that's supposed to get notified first. Unfortunately, it seemed everyone BUT James knew before he was notified.

No, it was discussed by Davi that he had a fill in rider test brands during the Suzuki split and it later came out that Peick tested the KTM and recommended it for a larger rider. I'll try to find it.... I forget where I saw it.

I'd love to see Eli on a Two Two bike. Seems like he could get the bike set up more to his preferences unless the relationship between TwoTwo and Kawasaki has changed.

You know RCH would be scratching their heads if Reed (former champ) got a championship before RC (former champ). . . That would make the Tomac vs. KRoc battles all that much more interesting to me.

Were these test just urine? Wasn't Reed criticizing these tests while he was on the list. RV will probably blast through and dominate for another 5 years in MX and SX.

I thought Valli was looking at Brayton? You really think TwoTwo can afford Eli? I know Reed has money but financially that can't be feasible paying his salary.

Good info (and I agree w/ most of it), but I'd like to say that IMO that RV is going to retire. He's probably burnt out and wants to drink beer and relax for a change. He has nothing to prove and probably tired of the grind year in and year out. Just speculation from the cheap seats.

I second this. One of the most puzzling things to me is Brayton leaving JGR, NOW of all times. He's at the height of his (SX) career so far, is maybe the only rider who has been consistently positive about the Yamaha over the past 5 years, and was the only one that fully bought into the JGR North Carolina program.
