Rumour in the Lommel paddock was that Tommy Searle had turned up , signed a contract with KTM and left ,his manager was in talks with Bierer & Everts in the team awning on Saturday , but that could have been anything , too public a place for it to have been real business.

Sad cause Jean Jacques Luisetti seemed to be really pleased to have a fighter like Tommy in his team and they seem to get along quite well. BTW, CLS Kawasaki will focus on MX2 for 2015, there will be no 450 team...

Yep, he got one, when everyone got hurt that was beating him for the first half the series. So yeah he has that going for him. His work ethic or lack therof shows when he hits the track. But hey he can become a spokesman for dirtshark vids.

pretty strongly worded comment about a rider that seems to have Mitch's respect... seems like he has gone through a couple of injuries since the MX title

There is so much wrong about what you stated. Wilson won 5 motos in the first half of the series, all first motos so he ended up missing out on overalls on some tiebreakers. He then won 6 of the final 8 motos and won 3 overalls. His main competition was Rattray and Bagget and they both started and finished the series.

Kawasaki is certainly worthy but unless the GEICO Team switches to Kawi it aint gonna happen.

In-fact...

We could argue that Deano's problem may very well be "over-training".

from the man who claims te be not a journalist

Ryan Villopoto. While he wasn’t there it was more or less confirmed that he will race the 2015 MXGP championship and when the news came out Youthstream boss Giuseppe Luongo quickly started the process of organizing a Grand Prix of Unites States, possible in Southwick or another great facility. Bring on 2015, it’s going to be huge.

Glen Helen, a few years ago was also gonna be huge ....

indeed an alarming rate of 24 MXGP riders this weekend. In the second heat Tanel Leok left the race after 15 minutes and scored 2 points ...

Well I think the promoter is making it very expensive for the riders with strange rules so not as many racer's in the GP's as it should be but the fan base is growing at a good rate

Woah!!! Who said that!?!

Great move by RV2 if it happens, every fan like my self that doesn't dislike him, but would rather see another rider win will immediately root for his success in the MXGP... Turns 95% of US mx fans into supporters over night

a few injured riders , would and could have been a few more, no searle, philliparts, waters, desalle, bobryshev, nathan watson could have been there as well but had to ride in the UK .

With all the riders coming up it should be good , we worked out 29 top line riders , all of them worth the effort .

There may be a few things to say about Youthstream (more global public tv coverage, purse money), but tracks are now better and better and the field is deep as we see at the MXdN (well this year the US will dominate, ok but usually the battles are epic upfront). Regarding the number of riders, with 40 people on the grid, more than half of the field would be lapped at least once, which for me is not great for safety and racing. Not 20 riders can ride at TC, Paulin or Desalle pace and it is already cool that the top 10 can so easily switch position from one race to another. There is no 40 factory ride either and since forever MX has never been a way to get really wealthy for anyone outside the top 5.
