I'm not very original, it's my initials (Michael Lindsay) and the number I've used the most in racing (512).

I'm a Yamaha guy and a huge James Stewart fan. Although I wish my name was its raining yellow. Sure would make it easier.

Really lame, but it's the username AOL would finally let me have back in the mid 90's when everybody & their mother had an AOL account. I disliked it so much that It stuck with me! I use it for damn near everything now. The first 5-letters are my last name, the next 3 letters are my initials... The "01" is just two numbers...

I've been drinking the damn energy drink Full Throttle forever and a day. Now it's just a universal username. Thought for sure someone would of taken it already when I signed up here. Was also my username way back in the SX.com days

Old AMA amateur number 218 in district 18. Busted up my stuff pretty bad in April of 06, Victory Vegas versus Jeep Grand Cherokee. Docs were throwing out words like 'limited mobility' 'possible amputation' 'won't walk again'...shit like that. So, 2 surgeries, 2 months in a bed. 4 weeks in a chair, 2 more on crutches, 2 more with a cane.

Saddled up in Sept of that same year and rode a state hare scramble in the Vet (+30) class. Didn't win any trophies, but finished on the lead lap - for my class - at about 2hrs 27 minutes.

Buddy of mine was looking at the X-rays (they put them on a disc for you these days) from the crash and was impressed I was able to even ride, much less finish a scramble with all the rods, plates, and screws in my right leg. "All that metal...you're like the bionic man or some shit." It stuck. Been bionic218 since then.

Everyone calls me georgie or georgieporgie, or porgie at the track. Not so original I guess.

My favorite airplane. Lucky for me two of my dad's passions were airplanes and motorcycles. Neither one of us had the talent to make a living on motorcycles, but we did manage to make it in aviation, thankfully.

Not really.

In 2000 I started racing again.Worked out a deal with husky importers and at muddy creek Joey Casey was passing out the "PRACTICE TRACK " paper.

In it was a section written up by mikeeep called freshdirt.

It was a website also with a board. I had just gotten dailup in my little town and started reading.

Joined with the name "hillbilly " because I am one. Pure country hick.

Teggers ran the same number as me ,351,he drove up from florida to a megaseries race we had at watt road in Knoxville.

Damn, what a track that was that day, epic long rutts and rutted jumps . Love that stuff.

Teggers was a freshdirt member and when I saw the number and the slash I thought "who the f is this"t hen the name "eggers" and the white helmet,

Been friends ever since.

I was hillbilly351 here for a while on the 1st md board because someone had registered hillbilly and was ruining my good name, lol.

Guyb clipped him i guess,it was prolly redrider,I think he is dead now.

Man,so many from that board are dead.

In 1995 a movie came out called "Kids." When I was in college, a guy in my fraternity thought I looked like the guy in the movie who's name was Casper and I've used it ever since.

I hate my screen name... I have been on forums since 1996 when I was into building the snot out of Jeeps. At that time I was a fan of MX, but MX forums weren't around really back then, but others like Pirate4x4 were kicking off around then. So Jeeps was my hobby at the time, I used this screen name for pretty much everything back then, and it just sort of stuck like a back hair you can't reach... I could change it, but it is what it is and I am OK with that. I think it was actually my Hotmail address once upon a time when I was working at MS now that I think about it.

I know if I was any of you guys and saw my screen name, my first assumption would be that this guy is either a kid, or white trash dude with zero creativity. I am a 40 year old with a good title at work, I am just stuck in the 90s apparently and don't really care enough to change it.

My wife's uncle "Handsome" Jack Kelley flew corsairs. He had some great stories. My favorite one was that they used to point those Corsairs straight at the ground pinned and then pull up at the last minute, he called it "Shit an Get" haha. He also said if you didn't come back with mud and grass stains under the wings you were a pussy Woohoo

I've been a poolman forever and am Poolio on a couple other sites. That name was given to me by some otmx guys and it sorta stuck. I was never that fond of it, I probably would have picked something more moto orientated instead of work orientated but that name stuck. I lurked here for quite awhile and while I recognized a few names for the most part I didn't know anyone here, so I figured in here I'm just some dude. Plus I figured I could take credit for what "Some Dude" on the internet said. Tongue

My name is Hamish Fox, but I thought if I put Fox in my username then people would just think I am one of those annoying non-moto people who bum around at the skate park in a fox hat and shirt.
Hamish F it was then.
No relation to the Pete Fox (of the Fox brand) however.

Maverick is a nickname and 313 is my race number.

Good stuff! There've been a couple names I've wondered about myself, like mom241.

Mine I just picked because JeNnAfiScHErFAN_89 was taken.
