Nope. I'll be in Canada.
However, I will be there for the national as well as the 125 dream race in September.

I'll be there for the Am/Pro National. Making the trip up there so my 8yr old can race the track I grew up racing. He's pumped up on it!

Yep....got my pre-entry back yesterday.......gonna give that SXFKX500 a whirl. It is about ready to go. Took it all apart and corrected some build issues by the original builder. Put on my Showa A KIT SFF forks. They are valved and sprung for an old man....LOL Also put on an Lectron Carb.....

I will be racing the Amateur days. I had to choose one or the other, too expensive for me to do both. Gotta love Shougal.

July 12-13, oldtimers race. All 30+ classes, you could race support class though (pre-entry only last time I raced there in 2001?)

maaaaannnnn,...Id love to race Washougal in July but I gotta work,

I remember way back when, 90-93...didn;t the second weekend in July used to be the Scott goggle race? Win your class get free goggles. For me, getting out of the desert and going to Washougal in July was the best race of the year. The weather was always PERFECT and the drive through the gorge was great. Windows rolled down leting the wind blow through. Always had my chick with me. Good times.

Dont loop out going up horsepower hill on that hybrid Tim...but if you do make sure somebody catches it on film.Tongue

Anybody know how early we can get in, Thurs/Fri? I'd like to drop the trailer and bikes and take the little lady sight seeing on Friday, planning on heading down Thursday night.

Unfortunately for me.....I'll probably go but won't be racing. Not even sure I'll be riding by then since this stupid liver is acting up! Pisses me off because this was the ONE race I really wanted to do this year!

So Cam....you coming down for sure? You got my number , let me know when you get down this way! Hopefully my liver can handle a couple a beers......if not I'll drink them anyway.

Hey Jeffro, what's the situation with the liver? Did you go to the doc? Hopefully it's healed up by then but if it's lacerated, then yeah better sit this one out! I plan on sticking to water, but it doesn't take much to twist my arm to crack a cold one or six. I'm so out of shape I know the racing is going to be a disaster but it will be a fun weekend regardless, can't wait!

I'm not 100% sure what's up with the liver man. The doctor said the swelling could last a few days....or even up to a month.( It's been about 9 days so far ) She said that if I get hit there or take any kind of an impact with it being swollen like this , I could cause myself a bunch of problems....real quick. So I'm just trying to take it easy. Work has been kind of a bitch but I'm moving slow and trying not to strain anything. The lack of sleep is what is killing me the most. N matter which way I lay in bed it's a pain. Kinda like broken rib type pain.

If you're coming down though....I'll come up to Washougal for sure. Maybe help you out in the pits or something. Throw dirt clods at you and yell at you when you go by and say " Go faster Bro....."" Hehe.

They are talking about having a practice noon to 5 on Friday if they can get at least 50 riders to commit.

It would be great to get some extra practice laps in before race day! Haven't ridden that track since 2001.

theres a lot more fun jumps on the track now but they are pretty safe. ryan always does a awesome job at that place. if you if you ever want to get a TON of riding there panic rev is the way to go. not sure if that is your cup of tea but my son got 10.5 hrs in 3 days. its a pretty relaxed atmosphere and some great guys teaching there too

It just said as long as 50 riders commit there'd be a track run practice on Friday. The clarified that it's independent of Oregon Old Timers.

I'm riding for the first time in 6 months this Sunday just to see if my wrists are okay for this race and if I feel good enough, look for the #818 in 40+ on a one-deuce-five.. I'm sure you'll hear my pinger if I'm there.

Sweet! I'm bringing the 250 but pretty sure I'll be racing the 144.

That sounds great but the religious aspect isn't for me, so it's probably not a good fit. Unless they are open to attendees who would respectfully decline to participate in those certain functions.

I LOVE the OTMX races, Washougal in particular, but I can't afford the alimony if I race again. The last few years I've dropped by to watch some friends and cry in my beer over not being able to race. I'll do that again this year, schedule permitting. I still really miss it but I may be making a transition as AMA motocross/supercross looks crazy when it used to look fun. I'll be interested if watching guys my speed looks crazy or fun.

Good luck to those who get to race!

I sent in my pre-reg last week. What did you get back as far as confirmation?
