"A lot of unintended harm happens when people assume a Y chromosome makes a person a boy or a man and the lack of a Y chromosome makes a person a girl or a woman. For example, one physician educator on our Medical Advisory Board had the challenging experience of trying to calm a 23-year-old patient who had just been told by a resident that she was “really a man” because the resident had diagnosed the patient as having a Y chromosome and complete androgen insensitivity syndrome (CAIS).
It is true that in typical male development, the SRY gene on the tip of the Y chromosome helps to send the embryo down the masculine pathway. But more than the SRY is needed for sex determination and differentiation; for example, women with CAIS have the SRY gene but lack androgen receptors. In terms of hormone effects on their bodies (including their brains), women with CAIS have had much less “masculinization” than the average 46,XX woman because their cells do not respond to androgens.
Moreover, the SRY gene can be translocated onto an X chromosome (so that a 46,XX person may develop along a typical masculine pathway), and there are dozens of genes on chromosomes other than the X and the Y that contribute to sexual differentiation. And beyond the genes, a person’s sex development can be significantly influenced by environmental factors (including the maternal uterine environment in which the fetus developed).
So it is simply incorrect to think that you can tell a person’s sex just looking at whether he or she has a Y chromosome."
And you just went bat shit crazy on me.
Winner.
Things get difficult in this topic. So many variables. For started, LL is a huge sandbag fest, so this latest incident is pretty par for the course.
So many other dynamics to ponder as well. Women compete with men all the time, this taking away from a mans spot in qualifying. Yet even a transgender can't return the favor. The double standard makes this just a difficult topic IMO.

I would also like to add that two years ago a certain rider was jokingly said to have sand in his vagina - which obviously was a metaphor, and the thread and OP was clicked. But in this case all the redneck know-hows are allowed to discuss the sexual features and body of someone they don´t know, and judge her life changing choices.
Kongols was clicked for reporting a harmless rumor. But it is apparently OK to rip on someone for gender issues, the "chopping off of ball sacks" etc.
If they only had a day in that persons shoes, how different their attitude would be.
I also happen to know Lemmy since I spent about 15 years in Metal bands and I doubt he would be kicking anyone's ass since he is about 5' 2" and roundabout 68 years old now.
First, I have no idea how the Guy feels about being a girl, my feeling are he got dealt a bad hand in life and
for that I wish HIM well. He did not make that choice anymore than a gay or lesbian female makes that choice.
The issue is, and should be, what parts and hormone levels does He / She have now. My Daughter races against
this person, She / He rides like a man...not a female, and I have seen the fastest of the fast females rides worldwide.
If you open the gate up on this one, where does it stop? We have seen this in society...
On the other hand, Davey let Kevin Cozzard ride C class after being a pro, lets check his shorts and see if can
ride with the ladies...JK
Hmmm... IIII don't want a pickle...I just wantaaa ride my motocicle?
One old indian proverb that has helped me is to "Never judge a person untill we have walked a mile in thier moccasins! " It is my prayer that Danielle will continue to keep riding and racing as Danielle stomps that YZ 250 and had 70 hrs on a 14 YZF 450 by last winter!
There aren't enough kindred moto souls as the sport seems to still be shrinking and we sure don't need to kill our own wounded so If Danielle ever motos again lets give support and encourage Danielle to sign up for the right class!
