I will. I believe the supercross in Alive was great, just the only two tracks we got weren't long enough. The scale was closer to real life than box car, even though box car was closer than the other tracks in reflex. The cornering is way better in Alive. Like I've said before, the bike is way too soft in Reflex and it's super hard to kill momentum. Alive is certainly not without it's own faults though.

And improve the whips/scrubs, and make it so that you start off as a nobody and make sponsors and improve getting your name out there, actually going through the career as a racer, have/create a private track to practice on. And mostly don't make James Stewart indestructible, he had perfect hole shots and mainly raced perfectly while all the other computers sucked. And also, the 450's had no where near the power they have in real life and they wheelied too much, you'd hit the gas after wrecking and your bike would flip. Those are my opinions..
This guys got it right. Really would be cool to get sponsors and be on a race team.

It is obvious if you enjoy mx games that are arcade style and completely unrealistic (see the Reflex) vid below, then Reflex is your game of choice. If you are like me, and enjoy the closer, simulation style, then Alive is more realistic. Look, in Alive on the 2 supercross tracks, you can't just pin it everywhere. You have to be calculated. In Reflex, 9 times out of 10, you can just pin it and clear a 300 yard stadium in two jumps. That's not as fun to me.

So I was thinking earlier about the AI in these games. Currently the AI may be competitive for Player B, but Player A might beat the AI by 40-50 secs. So what if the AI were ghosts of your previous races on the track? Let's say the game starts you out with 11 AI players, 12 players total. You run 45 Palms MX and finished 3rd. Well one AI gets dropped and replaced with your ghost, but using the bike and gear the AI was originally wearing. You race 45 Palms MX again, and another AI gets dropped and replaced with another ghost. Once all 11 AI are replaced with your ghosts, they are constantly being replaced with faster ghosts, dropping the slower ghosts. This way the AI progresses with each individual rider(player). What do you guys think? Would something like that be possible?

The whips and scrubs in reflex were perfect. It's all about how good you are at doing it, how low you stay over jumps exc. not some stupid bonus to help you along.

Yes this woulda been awesome. And let us ride ANYWHERE on the stadium floor. Would love to hit some of the sides of the finish jumps etc. And backward.

Come on, gimme a break. Do you know how much practice it takes to run the rythm sections like the video you posted?
We are talking hundreds of hours here.

I just called my game stop and they still don't know anything about the game. Is it real and does anyone have a release date?

Here is some more info on the game. MotoOption will be working with the game upon its release. MotoOption used to do MX vs ATV parties where they would have 8 TV's and people go head to head. There will be plenty more of that with the release of the new game. Here is the press release that they put out today.

Nope, i play with xbox, so no cheats. Get your "whip glitch" dialed in, tune your bike all for top speed, suspension all hard and all sticky. And couple more hours practicing.. Laughing

But seriously, even if its not realistic (which id like it to be tho) but hitting new rhythms and lines is still making me want to play this game after all these years, and im actually still finding new jumps. But the biggest thing why reflex is still my favorite mx game is because its the only one where the momentum moves you forward, not up and down.

I have only played reflex so I can't comment on alive. But if it's not too late, these are a must:

-Warm-up arena like reflex
-Some sick looking 2014 bikes and quads,
-Heavily detailed customization
-Mode where you can free ride on all the tracks
-Bike tuning! Let us adjust spring rates, rebound, gearing etc.
-A usable clutch (can turn off in settings)
-Animation to kick start the bike if sitting too long, I think that would be sick!

And for god sake please get rid of that "off-track" reset bs that reflex had, let me get back onto the track by myself unless I press reset!

I might have some more but this is what I've got so far.

still noticing this weird physics problem in the air. even the new Mad Skills MX suffers from it. Reflex and the first MadSkills definitely did not have this. it might involve how scenery "shifts" behind the vehicle as the user jumps. just an odd, midair pause/glitch as if gravity froze for a nano second

Ok since you had the chance to play it, did you happen to try any of the quads? I saw what you meant though in the gameplay, the whips were embarrassing to watch lol. I'm sure they'll fix it though.
