Man, this is really hard to hear. Prayers sent to he and his family, I can't imagine being in their situation. Keep faith and know there is a lot of support in the moto community.

I left on Saturday afternoon and was devastated to hear about this crash yesterday. I really hope and pray for Austin and and his family...

Unfortunately I was standing right in the mechanics area and saw the crash. Very bad and something I hope I never have to see again.

Julie Mincey would like me to pass along that the tests for Austin Mincey were what they feared the most. She said if anyone would like to come say good-bye to Austin, he is at Riley Hospital, Indianapolis, IN and you should come soon. If Austin makes it that long, they will repeat the test one more time in 12 hrs. They have given them no hope. So sorry to have to pass this devastating news along.

I feel you. The main thing IMHO we need to do is reign the tracks in some. Sport has evolved to something that doesn't accurately pray homage to the roots of MX.

MX is dangerous and is part of the allure but we don't need to increase the danger exponentially by making air time such a big part of the deal.

Godspeed Austin MIncey and prayers for his family and loved ones in the midst of this tragedy. God bless everyone.

Absolutely sad to hear. Prayers and thoughts go out to his loved ones. I saw Austin in one of our combined practice sessions at the regional, hoping for a miracle.

With deepest regret, Tim Mincey and Julie Mincey wanted me to let everyone know that Austin Mincey has passed at 1:51am. He loved you all and knew you loved him. They will be bringing him home soon. God speed 173.

I am completely heartbroken.....At 1:51 am Austin Mincey gained his angel wings. During this devastating time his family has managed to think of other families and do what they know Austin would want to do....save another life by organ donation. Please continue to pray for Julie, Tim & the rest of the family & friends.
