17 miles on a gsxr 750, got tired of standing up. I live in kansas so it was pretty straight down the highway.

Nice man! Shame you didn't record it on a gopro!
5/7/2014 11:58am
It was before the Gopro rage but it did get recorded by the Kansas highway patrol.

The guy in the vid is an idiot for wheeling on pavement in a track suit......Pinch

My record is one mile, on my 02 YZ250F. I thought it was pretty good! It was on gravel.

I never learned how to wheelie. I didnt want to bend fenders and subframes so I never bothered. I wish I could though. Not to be a buzzkill but youre a public meanace wheelieing in traffic. Puts out an awesome public image for all dirt riders to non-riding public when they see a dirt bike darting through traffic on a wheelie. Get off my lawn you damn kids!

I can honestly go as far as I want as long as there are no sharp turns or steep downhills. Unfortunately I live in the Appalachian mountains so the longest I've done is = to the length of the flattest straightest road... Laughing

I used to be able to do them pretty much as long as I wanted to on my Fz1. I did one for a mile just so I could say I did a mile long wheelie.

I can kill it all day on a single speed beach cruiser. Ha I like when you rail a turn at the track and your front tire never touches the ground berm to berm. Ah yea. Good times.

Like Ace, I never learned how. Fear of tearing up the bike. The only good wheelies I've done were by luck. I admire anyone how has figured it out.

On my old YZ250F, it was SOOO easy. There was just this sweet spot in third gear, and I always stood on the pegs, just found that perfect balance, and it felt so rad! Cool The mile that I did, my bro was riding beside me, and he couldn't believe it!

Truth is, I cannot do a wheelie on my CR250. Don't know why, but I cannot keep that tire up for anything. Just can't.

2.4 miles, I know this because thats how far it was from my house to the main highway when I lived in the country (Little Chenier Rd, the same road thats in the movie Little Chenier). That was with my old 1993 YZ250. If there wasn't a T at the end, I'm sure I could have gone even further. Many spills when I was younger to get to that point though.

I am the bizarro Doug Domokos. I couldnt carry a wheelie if I had to. I love watching Graham Jarvis on youtube though; his wheelies are poetry.

Road bike 1+ miles. Is it screwed up that I can not go very far on a MX bike? I did a one mile wheelie on my 95 600 f3 back when no one was really doing mile long wheelies. Now that is so commonplace it is not worth mentioning.

Yep its all about slow wheelies circles, no handers, crossed up, and combos.

There is a very wise man, an A list industry guy who claims there is a wheelie gene.....you are either born with it or not.

I have not seen the scientific evidence but he swears it is true.
