I've never had an issue w/ Motosport.com & always got my stuff in 3 days. I normally just get OEM parts from them now because they seem to be the cheapest for that. They were the only people I use to order from until I discovered RMATVMC. I live in Atlanta & I always get my stuff within 2-3 days, they have the lowest prices 98%of the time & I get 10% off every purchase. I order from them at least twice a month & I've never had an issue with them. I buy alot of moto parts, gear & accessories all the time, so I'm always shopping online from Ebay to Amazon to the big 3 online moto stores & RMATVMC normally has the best prices & service. If I need oil, plugs, tires or small random stuff, I go to my local shop (they match online prices on tires). With moto retail, it really depends on what I need & that is usually the deciding factor of who I'm gonna get it from.

Also, I've signed up for rider support with alot of companies. Anybody can do it, even if you don't race much. I get 20-50% off from alot of good companies. ProTaper, One Industries, Fasst Co, 661, Twin Air, Lucas Oil, Leatt, Garne & alot more! Its really easy & helps out alot. I just ordered Flexx Bars for my bike. A friend that owns Dirthammers.com hooked me up with Cole at Fasst Co. He put me on the Rider program, I got a good discount for a set of $370 bars & I'm good to go. You'd be surprised who will give you "rider support" if you just ask. I'm not looking for free bikes & parts, a discount makes me happy enough!

Klim, Rekluse, Scott, Acerbis...all offer rider support programs with good discounts (of course, often the price after the discount is still more than Rocky Mountain ATV/MC)...just had to ask.
Dude your so right! Alot of things I've just ordered from RMATVMC because its cheaper than getting "rider support" from some of these guys.

Bullshit,.

I walked into the RMATV show room and picked up OEM Honda parts I ordered. They had them in their OWN warehouse.

Did you give them an opportunity to make it up to you make with a future discount or something? I can't imagine Motosport not working with you to make you happy if you gave them a fair shot.

eBay. But the many other times I've used motosport I've always had great shipping.
FOR ME:
Good: Motosport, Chaparall, I have never been in Chap and they didn't have the part.
Bad, Bike Bandit (they held a $200 order for over a week on a $1.50 part that was back ordered, they did finally ship when I complained and I got the missing part 2 weeks later)

I like motosport, but i have had that same thing happen to me. If it hasn't shipped in 24 hours i will call b/c something is usually up. I think motosport or BTO has the best website, i hate RM/ATV's website its a hassle to search items imo. OP i live in PA also and besides motosport i would say motorcycle superstore or Rocky Mtn. Get it here the quickest. I like BTO but it is usually a few days slower or it used to be. I think RMATV have warehouses in Tennessee or somewhere like that so that helps.

Motosport hosed me yet again. I ordered chain and sprockets that were listed as in stock, ready to ship. Needless to say they didn't actually have everything in stock and now I'm on my third week of waiting. This has happened before. Probably the last 3 times I ordered from them. I would have gone another route if they said it was such a wait. Anyway, where do you guys order from? I'm switching, obviously.

Thanks
3D,

First, let me start by apologizing for the issues you've had ordering with us. We certainly don't want to see a customer unsatisfied.

If you can email your order number and name to social@motosport.com I would be happy to take a look at your order and see if we can rectify the issue. While we won't be able to make up the time you've waited to get the parts, perhaps there is something else we can do for you.

Look forward to your response!

Ive given up on local dealers. They usually have higher prices and you have to pay sales tax to boot. When they dont have the part in stock it takes over a week to get there. Rockymountain has parts in stock almost always, they get to my house in three days, and the have a great frequent buyer program. No reason to buy locally when they wont even try to compete with online retailers
Since Del Amo has taken over most of the dealerships I would go to I have stopped going all together, its not a dig at them because they are bike sales driven and do not stock much in the way of parts at all, even common items. that's the way most dealerships are going in my SoCal area....its a bummer, when I was a LB moto before they took it over we would get ruined by our parts mgr if we didn't have certain things in stock, needless to say Im a little more biased as to what I think a dealership should have in stock. Lately ive had to order 100% of the stuff I need so why not just go direct and order it myself?

I have used a lot of different companies. Bobs Cycle's, BTO, Motosport, Chapparal, Rockymountain, Motorcycle Superstore, etc.

I think Motosport and Rockymountain are the two biggest and have done well in customer service. I use to swear bt BTO but any time I look now it seems like they dont have as much as motosport and Rockymountain.

I think Bobs Cycles is pretty good too, none of them have hosed me, so I cant complain but I do think some are better than others.

Heart warming to see this. They royally fucked me 3 times this year alone, same situation.

I live within shipping distance of you. I can tell you that www.rockymountainatv.com will get you the stuff on the same day in the same brown truck... website looks the same, prices are the same.

the difference is, they don't screw you over.

Yup, this is what I've been doing with a lot of stuff. You start giving the local guy your business, pretty soon they know your name when you walk in, and before you know it you are looking for an excuse to swing by and hang out. pretty much a win win.

I've had similar issues with motosport outlet. Ordered a hat off their site, because it was the only place I could find it in stock on the entire web. Bought a Tiger Lacey shirt to get me some free shipping. Well, come to find out they didn't have the hat in stock nor would they ever be getting the hat in stock. They just went ahead and shipped the shirt which I do like, but I would have just cancelled the order. Can't stand when companies pull that crap.

My drinking night is usually Wednesday. Motosport loves me on Wednesdays.
Ha that's funny. Same here but Saturday. The only way I could buy a 6D helmet was on a Saturday night after drinking....$700, who cares...

If your in tamaqua just go to Holeshot Cycle in Hazelton. Gaylon is great there and will take care of you. Tom from Gap racing in locust gap is another great local shop. Between those 2 im sure they have what you need in stock.

I only use Motosport when shopping online and have had nothing but success. But, I do try to go to my local shop(s) more often now. I enjoy actually getting parts the day I need them, and the only way that is a possibility is to give your business to the local spots.

Oh, motosport will send you a box of free shit...

But a box of free shit does you NO GOOD the Monday after an Loretta Lynn's Qualifier when you needed "X" part.

and get this.. when they sent me my "free shit", they "overnighted it" on a Friday then emailed me to tell me "it' will be there Saturday morning!"

I thought "alright, that's cool, thanks for that." Well, the dumb fucks forgot to specify "saturday delivery" with UPS, which means it came Monday anyway. Ship stuff much? I only ship 2-3 things via UPS a year and even I know you have to specify Saturday delivery.

They are a mess over there at motosport. and like i said, why bother when Rocky mountain ATV has the exact same shipping times, a similar website, and identical pricing? Why bother?

O damn! You were probably gonna end up with a factory contract if you had the parts on time for that area qualifier. Talk about life altering.

I used motosport for everything too, but they've recently pissed me off as well, and I switched to rocky mountain a few months ago. I'll go down to my local dealer sometimes, but they don't seem to care about moto and it takes me 10x the time to drive down there and teach them what I want, than to just add 30 things to my cart and go.

i do as much as i can through my local guy but anything big gets bought through BTO with the pulp code. A++ on parts availability and shipping.
5/6/2014 5:56pm
My first and last order from motosport took over two months for them to tell me the "in stock" parts were no longer available. They passed the blame on to boysen, even tho Motosport had it listed as in stock. They must have had my phone number on a do not answer list because I sat on hold for hours several different times. Email was the only way I could reach them. After dealing with motosport I wouldn't order something from them if it was given to me. I have order parts from Rocky Mountain for years with absolutely no problems.

I've tried the little local shops and it's really a crap shoot to what I actually get. In fact one of them asked me to work for them to do engines and suspension work. Nice guys to hang out with, but I don't order much from them anymore.

If you think it's "BS" then call any of them and see. I do know what I am talking about with the big online suppliers of OEM parts. Honda, Kaw, Suzuki and Yamaha all have said warehouses set up just for that.
So, I say "BS" to your "BS" remark sir!
