RC was in full douche bagery mode tonight......his OWN team rider gets on the PODIUM and I don't think he ever once mentioned Hill's name tonight! Does this not show who's decision it was to give Hill the walking papers? AWESOME for Hill, he's got to be SO pumped for this podium!!!!

Your title is a bit harsh, but I do agree - RC seemed really douchey on the broadcast a number of times.

However, Hill thanked everyone under the sun including Carey Hart, by name, but did not mention RC at all. Personally, I think it is lame to call him "his guy" tonight, knowing he let him go.

Yep....GOOD ON HILL FOR THIS MOVE!!!!

He has to be non-biased, that's his job. If he starts mentioning his rider every week he draws attention to his team and sponsors. Attention he would not get if he was not commentating. It's smart to keep your mouth shut about your own team if you're in his position.

Maybe if Hill rode like he was losing his ride when he was hired and turned better results he would still be on the team. This ain't ObamaCross!( "Everyone gets a PRO ride" )

I know, right. RC mentioned Hill. Lord, if he mentioned him every other sentence people here would be complaining about that. Somebody please contact RC and tell him what the "Vital MX approved number of times to mention your sponsored rider's name" is.

Understandable IF Hill was running around 10th (like he seemed to do most of the season).....it was his FIRST podium in 4 years AND it just so happened to be his OWN team's rider. Wonder RC wouldn't have mentioned the rider in 3rd place if it happened to be say.....Weston Peick (for which I'm a huge fan but just saying)

The fact that the rider is his makes him mute on commenting about him. there's 2 other commentators that can get the ball rolling and praise Hill. RC just waits for Ralph or Fro on that.

Wait, he's supposed to be mute? What happened all those times he talked smack about them, and other times when they were battling in the heat for transfers he would always talk about them. RC was noticeably silent on Hill tonight, except the end which was a little lame and seemed to try to save face a little there at the end. I'm sure Hill would debate the RC saying that's "his guy" but whatever...tonight Hill was classy, RC was a little lame.

Fair! We can all call it like we see it though... I see you're an over sensitive twit posting on a forum about the interactions between a PAID rider and team owner with which you know practically NOTHING about.

I'd hire Hill right now if I had a team. He's been killing it in spite of RC. I love that kind of "fuck the boss man" attitude.

Where did i state that he's supposed to be mute? He hardly talked about 'them' at all dude. He's always been short about his riders, always.
