At the time L&M was supercross only and it was my understanding that Stewart wanted an SX only deal.

Oh they had it at one time, snagged it from Yamaha in the late 70's. Took them a couple years to figure out how to use it, but big H certainly had the proverbial crystal ball at one time.

At the time the talk about why Kawi did not make an offer was because he wanted a raise and a SX only deal. Add in the Red Bull/Monster factor and things did not work out.

It's this simple:

James Stewart is a Red Bull Athlete.

You can say it other-ways or you might even get someone to give you some particulars as to how this came to be "the point"...like how it's about a Helmet, a Logo and a Really Big Check...HIS Really Big Check; but, it all still comes down to the following...

James, Red Bull, Period.
Did James personally tell you that?

The talk???
You must mean the talk on Vital amongst a bunch of keyboard junkies who didn't know anything.
Anyone who believes that James Bubba Stewart, who raced outdoors the first year on Suzuki for no pay cheque, wanted a supercross only deal, is inhaling too many gas fumes.

"No he didn't" that's " the point" it's not that cut and dry, but TeamGreen likes to pretend to "know more then us all here" but can't " divulge any more info" hence his " cryptic messages" to each his own though whatever makes him "feel better about himself". Laughing

they didn't offer him a contract because their was friction between james and mike fisher and they knew rv was coming so they went with less drama. Plus james was red bull before kawi got the monster deal and wanted to stay with red bull, And didnt like the kawi bike.

Well, if that's how you have to see & say it to feel good about things? No sweat off of my balls.

Jabroni seemed to get it without any problem...a certain Canadian get's the gist of it, too.

Btw, Happy Easter to all of you.

I watched a few Bubbas world episodes and in one of them he said he was feeling burnt out and if he didn't go sx only he probably would've just retired.

If Bradshaw didn't choke, if JMB didn't retire, if RJ never got landed on in Gainsville, if Hannah never went water skiing... Etc, etc...

Simple economics and common sense. You can't have 2 roosters in the hen house and if one rooster wants to eat
$10 worth of food and another will eat only $5 dollars worth of food the cost of the same amount of eggs will be double.

I don't know why, I don't care much either.

But I'd take what team green says to the bank.

Red Bull. Simple as that. Look at his sponsors then and now. Helmet looks the same.

Doesn't anyone remember the Phantom they gave him right before Kawasaki went to Monster? Also, I don't believe he ever held a big "M" can on a podium. From what I understand he squeaked through the year with Monster's basic team logo agreements all while still collecting a nice little check from Austria and waiting for that Kawi deal to be up.

There is probably a lot more conspiracy theories and little more fact, but face it, it is Vital, it is MX, and we will never really know.

Kongols you sound like my wife now when you say "everyone" I really don't care about your respect because you obviously
base it on things you don't even know so there is nothing I can do about that. I'm sure there were lots of circumstances that
led up to the decisions that were made and it has no reflection on how great James Stewart is in sx/mx history. James said
himself " I was hurt that they didn't even offer me a contract." I don't know all the why's and what's that led up to Kawasaki's
decision, but I heard plenty at the time and to tell the truth I was hoping that Ryan and James would be on the same team.
I really liked James Stewart at the time, SX only, Bubba's world, and the things that happened on the track with Ryan soured
me a bit, but I feel he has come full circle for me and I feel it's an awesome chance for us to watch two of the best ever. So I
will continue to post whether I gain or lose your respect. Have a blessed Easter day, it is about forgiveness.

Here's what Kawasaki got.

Less drama, less circus and 4 SX championships in a row

Here's what everyone else got, More drama, less wins & no championships.

I'm a JS fan but Kawasaki made a great decision.

So I thought. You know just as much as the next guy. Change your username and you can say whatever you THINK you know. As it is right now you know shit but just because you are an uncle of RV a lot of not so sharp people will take your info as a fact (even when it`s not) simply because you`re uncle of RV. And then we have guy`s like Jeffro503 running around calling people idiots thinking that he got solid info from THE UNCLE.

Never said I got any info from Uncle. Where did you get that from? And why on earth are you attacking him again? Seems like every time the guy posts about his own nephew .....you and a few others can't wait to come in here and start slamming him.

I see Uncle sticking up for his nephew ( who wouldn't?? ).......and I also see 95% of the time , him giving praise to James. I know for a fact he respects James more than you'll ever know.

You have to learn how to separate the shit slinging towards the fantards and realize it's not towards James really at all. In fact there a lot of guys ( like me for instance ) that are big Stewart fans , but we don't want to side with the crazy ass fans on this site........buncha friggin' loons!

Oh....almost forgot.......4peat Bitch! Woohoo
