Making a living doing what he loves, and a great representative for his sponsors and the sport. We should all be so lucky.

I think Wey has a leg up on a lot of the other riders in supercross still. He's making mains, and really giving it a "run" to win a semi or get close. He really has put his best foot forward for a solid program, and kawi seems to help him out a lot.

He's also a really nice guy, that doesn't just talk the talk, he also walks the walk.

What is the difference between Wey and somebody like Schmidt or Albertson or Chisholm?

They are all about the same speed but I don't see you bagging on them?

Sure he has lost some speed over the years but he still qualifies for the night show. Why the fuck do you think you have the right to criticize the guy for racing for a living? Seems to me some of the asses here have too much time on their hands,

Personally, I am so very sick of the "bait" posting that goes on here anymore, do you hate this sport that much?

Didn't he have his back fused after that last injury? Could've easily thrown in the towel then. Top 15 sxer in the world.

If you think he should "go home" than the locals who come out and fail to make the main in every city should just go ahead and stay home right?

Not bagging but he has been around along time and has seen and done it all. He must still have fun I suppose...that's probably why he still tries to hang with the young bucks out there today. Lot of risks just to be hanging around and knowing he's only going to get slower and slower as he gets older and older.

No bagging here...simmer down you fucking squirrelly ass C riders.

LMAO! I think Nyk is trying to prolong it as long as possible man. he's having a blast doing it and still making mains......so why not race as much as possible? Cause once you hang up your boots.....it's over. Try to add as many great memories to your racing career as you can.....and be happy abut it. Besides.....if he's still fast enough to make mains ( which he obviously is )......we should be happy for the guy right? I wish I was fast enough to be out there.....I'd be living the dream baby.

exactly!!! once most are done its time to get a real job and he's almost 34 and probably trying to get a few more years, who could blame anyone for this.

He loves it. He has more enthusiasm about going and riding his dirt bike than anyone I know.

Because he is fast enough to make money riding a dirtbike. Why would you wonder why he still does it? Jealousy? He's still faster than all of the keyboard jockeys here.

He's a good guy, always appreciative of fans and a good ambassador of the sport.

Top 15 AMA SX racer - If that does not define "big boy" (in moto terms), what would?

By your implied logic, only the factory racers should race, and everyone else should go home because they aren't big boys - This would include basically ALL of AX, anyone outside top 10 SX/MX and all amateur riders.

Stupid post.

He is making main events, he loves the sport and industry, he has a broader agenda than just prolonging the racing part of his career, he is a great representative for the sport, he is mafia...............................I can go on but why.......that is enough.

You can count on the idea that he won't vanish into the past when he does stop racing.
