It won't fit, I ordered one for a '17 and had one for a '16 sent by accident. Was wondering what the heck I was doing wrong when trying to put it on, then I read the packaging.

I would say the "less power" argument applies more to lower level riders than top pros... C rider stops in corner and can still make the big jump, rather than needing to carry speed.

I don't notice any increased vibration reduction vs regular grips, but I do like them a lot. Maybe switch to some rubber mounted clamps if your bike doesn't already have them?

AXO Ride gloves fit me a little weird and take some break in time, but have no padding in the palm and do have knuckle protection

I haven't worn them much, but so far I really like the Alpinestars Fluid Pro knee brace. Excellent adjustability, lightweight and comfortable. The adjustability is huge for me personally because I tend to land somewhere between size medium and size large.
