Very difficult to put a number on it, however we have seen starts are everything this year, if he gets a good start I say top 5, bad start top 10. I think hes in a lot better shape than most people think.

Hopefully he's just coming back to just gauge his fitness / speed for Nationals. No reason to push his limits and risk injury at the end of a series. I think if he came back with a 10-12 @ first & placing right around top 5 by the end, he would be in good shape for outdoors... But, of course he's a racer at heart, I could be completely wrong. Honestly, I think top 15 would be good for him. I can't even remember the last time he raced, and he hasn't been back on the bike for very long has he? Especially with the Honda guys seeming to be struggling with bike setup this year, I wouldn't expect too much.
Please tell me you're joking? If not you have shit for brains, I'm sure this isn't the first time hearing that or something similar and really hope you seek some professional help! You think he's going to be battling with Nike Schmidt, Ronnie Stewart, Chris Blose, Cody Gilmore type racers (no disrespect at ALL to those mentioned they're doing awesome but we're comparing to Trey Canard) those mentioned have been around 15th with some even bettering a 15th place finish. I mean TC is a champ a few times over and will not be down on speed by much if any, gate drops and riding with many others and 20 laps at race speed could hold him to his potential however speed never has/will be the problem. Huge fan of Canard. Canard.... is capable of winning the main event. Realistically, Top 6 on his first race back.

Was hoping for TC41 to just chill till the out of doors series ... just don't see anything to gain at this point. If he's riding I'll be pulling for him.

Just another reason why everybody like this kid so much (he is a kid to me,Im old).

I really don't care where he finishes this weekend I just want him to get through the first race back in good health. Then he can build from there. Good luck this weekend Trey and mom.

Good news to hear Trey is coming back. Nice to see another guy up there in the mix of things.

Good to hear he is back! I would be happy if he just stays safe and ends up in the top 10, but that's just not his style. Holeshot and 4th place finish.

Very excited to see him back! Especially since I will be there on Saturday. I would guess 5-10. I just hope to see a healthy Canard for outdoors.

Wouldn't surprise me if he holeshot and won. Unless James is jumping the whole track again.

I don't see him finishing higher than 8th but lower than 10th. Glad he's coming back though, that guy has been thru too many injuries. I'm not a "Jesus" guy, but I hate seeing such bad stuff constantly happen to good people like Trey.

How can anyone say he's not capable of realistically winning the thing?? Did we all forget A1 2013.

As stated, results isn't the real goal. Track time at race speed a few gate drops and sponsor and fan obligations seem to be the secondary reasons. I'm sure the main reason is he just want to race!! I'm stoked he's back, I always like cheering for a guy coming back from injury. Go Trenard!!

Can't say for sure, but looks like he's only been riding MX. Might've decided just to go all in on that and forget about SX.
