x2, nobody is perfect we all make choices good and bad, then deal with the results, time to grow up sooner or later. and hope u dont kill someone. Some states driving that fast is not officer discretion, its a dept policy. to make an arrest, impound vehicle.and blaming the law for your choice is plain wrong. the gas pedal goes both ways.

Ya that's rough. A $300+ ticket for having an expired inspection sticker that costs $14 is a bit crazy too. It's why I always get my car inspected before it expires these days.
I will say that the officers sitting on the shoulder of the interstate at night with their lights off on a stretch of highway with no lighting is insanely dangerous to other drivers and themselves. I have seen that as well.

$1650 is insane. Heck, a DWI here isn't even that much!

"Indigent Defense Fund" - $100.00
So it's an extra fee....so that if a criminal can't afford a lawyer...it ensures that the public defender is still paid.

I grew up driving in atlanta for 20+ years and never has it been 95 wall to wall, no matter what time of day. Ive seen it wall to wall 80-85, but thats pushing it. I drove 75-80mph all over Atlanta and was never pulled over once.

So he has to shut the fuck up for telling the truth. What an inbred.

I've been dring thru and around Atlanta for 10 years now and have been pulled over once. Told the cop "sorry about that" he ran the vin on my bike and said have a nice night, about 75-80 is about normal traffic in Atlanta, never seen 95 wall to wall either.

I think all you guys that bitch about the cops need to go places where there are none, watch your crying asses come crawling back asking for their help.

Calm down honey, all I'm sayin is what everyone really needs to take away from this is....ITS A DAMN STORY.....put here to make some people laugh or whatever it may do, but not draw judgement. Leave that too the big man upstairs (no not Ralph shaheens dumb ass) as for "never seen wall to wall 95" were you there that night at that exact time??? No oh well then take it somewhere else. And I never bitched about the cops so I don't know where your gettin that from let's just drop this whole mess before this thread ends up in the "dumbgeon" I'd like too tell my story within this story (the one the thread was originally about) but I can't with all this bitchin

Not sure the speed, 95 to 100,

Whenwe hit 75 headed north,it was 6 lanes at 95 ish,for 20 miles i guess.

Traffic eased i was in left with cars around and on the bumper of one.

A car gets on me,i go right a lane to let pass,he sticks like glue,i go back left, then a bridge comes up with a huge dip in front left.

I goright a la n e but the truck still snatched a little and i go back left on the straight.

The car on my ass gets run up on by another and backlit, isee the rack then blue lites.

As i go right the truck in front and car to right do same,we all figured same, its me

It was me.cop get my license and tells me he paced me at 95 but my radar detector nevr beeped.

No insurance questions,no nothing, comes back whenbackup. Arives

Gets me out,go to rear, finger in face, "I willtell you once, hands behind your back"

Blown away with it all,he snaps cuffs on so tight that i had to ask in the car if he would loosen,he did.

Tell me i need to tell my friends and 14 yr od to get a room, I t will be 6 am at best.

I cant believe that, why?speeding oh,was iso unprepared mentally and played ketchup the next 9 hrs.

When we get to jail after 1st sally port a guy is pissing his pants, wasted as they search him.

Next,i spread wil l cuffs on as latex ruffly grabs my massive nuts and runs up my crack.

I try to think,"you better kiss me afte that much fun" but the guy is really ugly so the thought trails off.

Next a pack of earplugs is pulled out of my pocket,"oh what do we have here?"

Earplugs, then a advil is dug out,i tell him same," he yells,he better hope it is", it was but that scared me,i dont scare,

What if it would be made to be something other, nothing i could do,

I mite as well been on the moon, which would been better because worse it where i head.

Post up my mug shot, david albert, cobb county ga, I am ok with it,it is what it is and i am the same

I saw it on my armband, looked ruff, more on 30 minute Mexican shits and remirez speaking in tongues,

It gets better, better for the tale, worse for me.but the hillbilly seems to draw like loadstone
It's wrote in the style of a great Southern writer/poet. LOL

If someone drives like an idiot around me and get aggressive, I'm on the phone with the police to report a possible drunk driver and getting your license plate. Nothing grinds my gears like someone putting other people's well being at risk in order to get somewhere a few minutes quicker, and from the outside looking in, if they seem drunk or irresponsible, I'm not risking letting it go so that they can go on to wipe out a whole family a few miles up the road or next time they drive drunk thinking they can get away with it again. Even if it turns out they're not drunk, I have no pitty for someone that gets a ticket for breaking the law. Most people that always talk about 'crooked' cops dive like 16 y/o kids anyways (to the 16 y/o on this site, yes I'm calling you bad drivers). It's funny how I never seem to have experience with crooked cops when I'm not breaking the law.
it's just a matter of time, and it sounds like you are wayyyy overdue... have fun with that, you are in for a real eye opener... LOL

LOL... I have been pulled over more times than I can count and in all the stops I have never run across one of those "crooked cops" that got hillbilly, but then again I have a license, insurance, registration all my teeth and don't reek of alcohol so it must be because I am a middle aged white guy but when I was a long haired kid I still never got pulled over by a bad cop. Overdue for what? An experience with a crooked cop? You do realize that plenty of people go through life without being hassled by police right? I've had my run ins in the past, but I grew up. I handle myself pretty well with people.

Why waste your energy on a debate about breaking the law? anybody who thinks its cool to be a rebel and then come a public forum to complain and blame the police is a douchebag. keep your vehicle updated, drive the speed limit or deal with the results. .and you got caught, how many times do people speed and not get caught? but no mention of that on the internet?.The comment on pussies and being a mommas boy is comical.people grow up and try to act like they are responsible. Having a criminal record and being a rebel.is a joke and bragging about it is even more of a joke.i bet your family and employer are real.proud.

So what. Is it going to destroy your manhood if you get passed on the freeway? People drive like idiots around Atlanta all the time, when you join in it kind of makes you an idiot as well doesn't it?

Police in GA have to have their running lights on. They have to be "In Plain Sight, with running lights on" to conduct a traffic stop or the state of GA considers it "Entrapment" (for whatever reason).

I have to admit I'm a little embarrassed that I allowed myself to get drawn into a pointless internet debate about something so stupid as who's to blame when someone gets fined for breaking the law. Lol... I'll move on from this topic now. Good to see that there are a few responsible people here though! Smile

no need for your rights to be read to you, they charged you without questioning you.. all the info they had was easy to charge you without questions or investigation.and it was traffic violations, not criminal charges either you did it or you did not.. I guess you saw the read me my rights on tv lol. fyi the speed limits are pisted along the roadways in case you dont want stopped. and make sure your vehicle info is current., avoid any problems, gonna pay to play.

Sorry to hear about your issue, even though you were not lilly white innocent based on what you said. A good friend of mine got popped in Woodstock, GA with 1 J (didn't even know it was in the glovebox) by Barney Ffie. They treated him like El Chapo.
However, fuck that POS war criminal Sherman, and anybody related to that motherfucker. You being from TN should know that shit man.

Lol,funny stuff ri that there.

I broke the law,no doubt.

Tennessee said it was good, cobb cops said no,he never asked for insurance.
,just cuffed me.

Once in the jail EVERYONE is pointed at the phones,a led sign with bonds co crawls accross.

I called several, got theone right beside the jail, what are the chances.

The pig that got me kept saying 6am and that my friends should get a room.

The bondman said about 6am.

They never did a thing till about 4am,after 4 hours.

Then at 6 i was stuffed inholding with everyone for shift change.

Afterwards i was not let to use the phone and put in salitare.

Till 8am,

They wanted to feed me clothe me in jumpsuit and fag flops then the shift change, more money for them from feds.

I broke their law,not mine,

I was running with traffic with out of state tag.

No radar in his car,he paced me with a 95 crown vic analog speedo.

I have gotten 27 letters from lawyers in Atlanta.

Hey bob,still crazy buddy,still crazy
