I just can't wait for the outdoors to start! Seems much better than Supercross sometimes. Anyone else waiting for it?

Me too. Supercross is ok but motocross is the real thing!

Probably going to make the trip over for Glen Helen and Hangtown too

Yep!!! I used to take the family down to the Seattle SX and took them to A2 back in '11. Summer of '11 I took my oldest son to the Washougal National...and in '12, and in '13 and will this year. Way more bang for your$$....and it's just soo much better then stupidcross.

btw...RD5 is a beast outdoors.

Ya I don't see him beating a healthy RV2 or JS7. RV owned him in 2013 & JS7 owned him in 2012 till he took that soil sample. I think this year, you will see JS7 & RV2 fighting for the title. RD5? Not sure why any one would pick him over RV!

RV will win it easily I think, and I'm a JS fan. 250s will be more contested, but Baggett is a beast outdoors and takes it last round.

Stupidcross??? Really? Sx is incredible, I love motocross as well but they both have there place. I'm thinking James has the fitness to run up front this year outdoors. Js7,Rv,Rd5, and possibly Chad will be the big dogs.

There is no reason to believe Chad won't be upfront outdoors this year especially after his short but phenomenal run in SX but man, was he not himself last year outside!

I love outdoors but SX is great right now.

Agreed. I enjoy each equally as much. I love going to supercross for the show aspect and just overall awesomeness, and I love going to the national to see fast racing and incredible stamina. Both have their challenges, and both are equally as interesting IMO.

Yes because the amount of money you pay, versus the amount of racing is pathetic. How long were the two main events in DallasWhistling ....JS7 Heat and main, 19 minutes. Yet at a National I get to watch the best racers in 2 30min + 2 lap races. No comparison.

But you can't discredit RD's ability in the outdoors. In 2012, he was clearly faster than JS but just couldn't pass him. Outdoors is a totally different animal than Sx. I'm pretty sire Rv knows who his biggest threat to the 2014 outdoor title if he payed any attention to the 2011 and 2013 season.(Hint: RD) Tongue

What are you talking about Stewart passed and walked away from dungey a bunch of times. Then he hit the dirt but rd was not clearly faster

No, you're right. Apart from the fact that you only see one part of the track and you only see the racers when they ride past once a lap for 10-15 seconds...

Supercross is definitely more of a spectator sport...

Providing Canard doesn't kill himself again I think he can pull some moves on the genuine title contenders. I'd like to see CR22 up there each weekend.

When you watch an outdoor moto then immediately watch a SX, Supercross seems like they never get out of first gear except when they hit 4th in the whoops. SX just seems soooo slow compared to Motocross. . .

But like said above, I respect the supercross. I think it takes more talent and technique to ride.

How many times KRock beat Dung in the MXDNs? in the smaller bike. Why you think this will be difeferent when 94 in the 450?

Outdoors is a LONG season. MXDN is one race. Dungey has a long history of completing the series healthy and in the top 3. KRoc, has a shorter history and had a few things go wrong during the seasons that cost him a finish or two. I'm not saying that KRoc won't be strong in the outdoors but you can't confidently say that one guy will beat the other in this instance. . .

And if we're using your logic, Tomac will own KRoc outdoors.

should be a good show this year. Stewie is consistently fast these days and will be a spoiler for the past two top runners (RD/RV), RD5 is always a threat for the long haul. RV is the winner, so he's got the target on his back, Reed and Milsaps will hopefully be fully healed and running the pace.

the black horses that can throw a big wrench into the plans of any of these guys will be Kroc, Tomac, Barcia, and Brayton (who is filling in for Milsaps when it comes to the "where did he come from" page) have shown the speed indoors and outdoors.

either way hopefully everyone stays healthy and fast!
