It's raining here in socal. How much rain did the stadium get? I'm up against the hills so it may have rained harder here than at the stadium. Is the track done, yet? Was it covered?

What's up? Pics?

It aint gonna be much of a factor. If anything it may help the track. See you there!! Don't forget it starts early!

I was in Anaheim until about 8pm and it didn't even rain. There was a light mist on the cars but no drops came down.

We've been around -22F here in the early mornings with highs around 0 F for the last week or so, now it's 33F and Sat. it's supposed to get up to around 48F and rain, then middle of next week we go back down to around 9F.

Gotta love Ohio.

I live right by the stadium. I would not call what we got rain. More of a "mist." Its so dry around here, it wont even make a difference.

Unfortunately most places in the UK you can fish without leaving your house at the moment.

We have been stuck in a deep freeze for 2 months now, but it looks to be easing up a little-it was only minus 37 C with the windchill this morning. Almost windbreaker weather.......not. I too am so fucking sick of winter.

Nevermind. You can keep it. I like riding my bike on dry ground. What happens if that guy hits a set of stairs?

I feel bad for just about every single person in this thread when it comes to the crazy weather thing. Right now in the PNW......it's been a very mild winter , with some good rain here. I feel lucky to live in Oregon at these times.

Last weekened when i traveled south for the Oakland SX.....I got a good looo at Mt Shasta and the lake.......NO SNOW pack on the mountain and it's friggin' January!! The lake looks like it's about a good 75' - 100 LOW on water! I'm praying for you guys this summer......and I aint a prayin' type a dude!

Thanks, E. It rained off and on all night in Aliso Viejo.

At press day the track was about half done. I don't know if it was covered or not.

Watching the National news last night I was gasping at the pics of the drought conditions in Cali, The news dude was on a dock that has been dry docked so to speak. He said it should be about 100 feet above his head! I was amazed. Hope you guys get some rain soon but little at a time, don't want to see the mud-slides that happen when you get 2" at a time.

Born and raised in So Cal.

Moved out in 92 to the South.

Traffic, no water, high prices, "better than the jones", all suck ass. Dont understand why anyone would want to stay there.

Although, I really do miss the variety of food and services. Just dont have the diversity anywhere else. But the weather sucks. How can u live without rain?

I will never forget the A1 mudder that Windham won in 2006. That was supposed to be the RC Stewart show down but the weather prevent that from happening. My neighbor saw me going out to my car on my way to the stadium and he thought I was nuts as it was pouring down rain.

Once a fan always a fan.
