I have received an offer of a refund from Sondra at CMC and that resolves it for me. Bash away to those that want, but the very simple fact is that's all that had to happen in the first place without me or anyone else having to chase down their $$.

Jay.....hope to hear back from you hear after Sondy gets a hold of you. Like what many others have said....Sondy is a strait shooter....she'll set things right.

That was between her and Mr Primm....and aint got nothing to do with you. And speaking of you.....you just got here and Sondy's been on the boards for years. Besides the Primm thing.....I'd take anything she had to say over yours any day of the week. She's always been super cool to me and thousands more in the CMC thing. So go ahead and talk shit about her if it makes you feel better.

That's crazy... every single time that I have talked to Sondra, she's be over the top cool and very respectful. She's actually gone out of her way to help me ride more than once too. Stand up lady, in my opinion.

This right here is exactly what's wrong with society today..

Maybe they should've stormed the sign-up building and grabbed the track operator, tied him up and dragged him around the track for a few laps. Then burn down the snack bar and just for good measure run over the entrance booth with their truck on the way out.

Then they could come on Vital and bitch about how they couldn't use the rain check they were given because the track is closed.

No you are what is wrong with society, just laying down and taking it up the ass when someone takes your shit. Sir, ' mam, errr shim whichever you are. Here is a theory for you cupcake, what if the op was from out of town and decided to race while he was there? A rain check would do him fuck all any good now would it? I understand he wasn't but maybe one of the few others that showed were? And I give no fucks about a disclaimer or whatever as you posted previously about, so that makes it ok for somebody to take your shit? Because they told you they were? You obviously have some affiliation with these people.

LMAO.....this is so funny I can't stay away. They were offering a rain check or asking for $10 more to practice. Just so you know, NOBODY WAS LYING DOWN AND TAKING IT UP THE ASS WHILE SOMEONE ELSE TOOK THEIR SHIT, as you so elegantly worded. My first instinct is to tell you to STFU, you sound like a condescending lunatic with a shallow vocabulary!........but then I start to think, no, it''s your type of absurdity that drives these threads to be so fun(ny)! Carry on.
I guess "tmauto769" has trouble with reading comprehension as well as vocabulary. He must not have realized that i was responding to the guy who said that the OP should've have called the cops and then his lawyer.

So you got what you requested, likely also have the rain check as well, but you still take have to take a shot at them?

Because you just took the initial offer from some low level lackey, you never asked for a supervisor or manager while at the venue like others did who received their refund in cash, and then, you had to write an email (THE HORROR!!). Then, I assume, you received a prompt response that not only gave you the resolution you wanted, your money back, but I'll bet it was also a nicely written apologetic email response as well, and you still have to take a shot at them.

Because that's really what this was all about.....taking a shot

Motocross has entered the new generation of 'what can you give me'. These entitled punks now expect everything to be handed to them. And it's not just the young kids, as in this case. They are never happy. The track is too dusty, the track is too wet, the track is too rough, the track is too smooth.... Like I said, they won't be happy until the run off all the track promoters and owners, who most of them do it for the love of the sport, as we sure as hell know it's not for the money!

Sounds like someone could use a vacation.

You think it's just the MX crowd, wrong.

Try HVAC. Used to be a few motors, some controls and you'd make most everyone happy.

These days, ha.

It's too cold. It's too hot. It blows cold air. It's noisy. How come it has to be there? When are you coming?
You mean I have to wait all morning? My nose is stuffy. I get sore throats in the morning.
Don't I get a hospital grade air filter with that? My neighbor did. It's gonna cost that much?
Is that the safe kind of freon? Are your guys background checked? What about drug checks?
That dog won't bite. My mother will be here any minute with the money.

Hey, the good ole days are gone, and it isn''t just where you are.

The silence is deafening...

If this guy refused the refund it raises the question as to what this was about from the beginning.

Is this a set-up just to bash? He joined Vital the day of this rant....

Thanks Evoracer, slipdog, Torco1 and 450grip. I'll check into it with them further even though I don't feel I should have to. As the "messenger" they sent, at least to my pit, represented to be in charge. But stuff happens, that's life.

You felt bad enough about it that you posted a rant.

So now you've been given a next step to rectify the situation from several people, and your response is, "I'll check into it with them further even though I don't feel I should have to."

Wow.
I'm kinda blown away by this guy's "timing" and lack of common-sense...

Jayracer5 throws this shit up on the web BEFORE contacting CMC? (Confirmed this myself)

Take's the word of a track-worker as the word of CMC? (as implied by his own words) I thought you've been racing for a long, long time and would know how things work on a track...on race day...?

Ya know, the Race-Promoting Community has turned into a Cut-Throat/Throw the Other Guy UNDER THE BUS World and let's not even THINK of using the word "loyalty" here...not even for a second.

Then there's the simple FACT that Stu Peters pretty much gave us "local racing" out here in the West.

How about taking the time to realize that he not only ran races; but, more often than not...helped us out on some other level of our racing-life..."Who" to contact at the OEM for "a ride" in my case; but, never-mind all that. How about how he'd "take-care of us" when we were noob's and steer us in the right direction on race-day..."Hey, you know what? Let's go talk to Jake, he knows how to set your bike up right!" In my case: He introduced me to Jake Thompson at Showa which helped me get my bike to QUIT launching me into the fence and also helped get me a Honda-support ride. Again, let's not even think about all that...

Hell, how about personally showing us how to fill-out or Contingency paper-work CORRECTLY(!) so we could get paid (No "net", back then, and we...I...was an idiot).

Ya know how many times I watched him let someone race on "credit"...? We're talking broke...as in ain't got much money...Race-Dads whose kids you know by name now-a-days...back then...literally...going to the races with their bike on the back of a car...a Pinto, in-fact. "Pay me when you can. I'm just glad to see you guys out here!" - Stu. Yes, that Stu.

So, you'll have to forgive me when I say this whole mutli-page Fiasco is kinda f'd up and heart-breaking. Why? Because, I looked into this:

Yes! You didn't get to race on a scheduled race-day. Yes, that sucks!

Yes! You didn't get the REFUND you wanted when YOU WANTED it and probably should have & could have GOTTEN IT THEN if you'd thought about it...and walked a little bit.

BUT! Come to find out that a REFUND WAS OFFERED WHEN YOU FINALLY SENT AN E-MAIL AFTER THE FACT...AFTER YOU PUT UP THIS THREAD.

Stu's people made a simple mistake; and, you and the Hate-Fest-Web-Bitchers have a mutli-page Anti-CMC thread to show for it.

Me? like I said, I looked into it. I'm embarrassed.

For you.

Damn

I was just told that he WAS offered his money back, BUT REFUSED IT.

He signed up, created a thread about "being robbed" and when he did email the CMC and was offered his money back, he refused it.

Seems he was even told to keep the rain check as well.

He wanted his money back because he was robbed, and when it was offered, he refused

No, there was no ulterior motive here....

Man, that's sad, dude

Perhaps the guy was standing on principle and doesn't actually give a damn about the $30? Perhaps the offer was enough?

Nah, I bet he's got ulterior motives of trying to bring down a series that apparently can't draw enough riders to begin with.

Yeah, that sounds more likely.

That may be but how does that apply in this instance? It seems the track wanted something for nothing ie, a gate fee for no event?.............For the record I have been on both sides of the issue. Most tracks fail due to poor management and prep. In this case it looks like the race wasn't promoted well enough?................
