Rode my Honda Wave 110 around the streets of Hanoi. It's a killer bike and the riding here is gnarlier than any track I've ever been on.

Been lurking here for years. Signed up a couple of years ago, but never post.

I lurk here because there is a core group of smart guys with something of value to offer/say. I don't post because of the dumbasses. I'll start posting when they either grow up, or the moderators kick them off, and revise the culture. Life is too short to engage in negativity.

Only commented because you asked...
I think the mods have been getting better about clicking the idiots. I'd like it to be 'quality over quantity', but I realize it's a business... If there was a post preview available (like I've seen on other forums), then the dumbasses wouldn't get so much attention because they'd have to post something worth reading to get people to comment.

Check this out! I'm racing this '68 Bronco in the 2014 NORRA 1000!

I rode NCMP last weekend, and South Fork MX in Richmond VA this past weekend. They opened up thinking nobody would ride and 28 people showed up for 37 degree temps... real fun track, and awesome new owners who I'm sure will make the place even better.

Saw a nice looking Tundra down here the other day. And a Raptor the other week. Still rare as, they cost a mint down here. Like 100K min, 150-200 for some crazy conversions.

How much is a good Tundra there?
I paid $25k plus another $2,000 for tax title and license. I'm happy with my decision.

Raptors are sweet trucks! Way out of my ballpark though. They're $50 or $60k here. Not sure how the USD converts to the AUD.

Fuck! They're cheap!!!!

That would be cheap even if it wasn't the dollar conversion. Our equiv trucks are like 60 and not that nice!

I rode at Carnegie, which is where "RAINING YELLOW" dude likes to ride.
It's also where Roger DeCoster broke his bike in half at a Trans-AMA event. I think he ended up needing some plastic surgery after that crash.

Sweet! Thanks for the link, that was my first pro moto. I watched local hero Pat Richter fight to crack the top 20. I was amazed he couldn't hang with the leaders. grandpa Villopoto was his wrench and sponsor away back.

No riding last weekend, apart from a short mtb spin. Stayed on work and house prep for the holiday

Were you there Saturday or Sunday? I was out there Saturday and actually saw "raining yellow" out there. I was on a white and black cr500 with rat beach racing graphics and 485 on the number plates.

We rode today at the DBSA club grounds in San Antonio. My friends son is 12 and just moved up to a full size bike. He can ride with about anyone in the woods.

The Tundra is just a sweet truck. I test drove the Ford and Chevy. Didn't even care to consider Dodge. Just have a mental block that I won't buy one of their full size trucks unless it's a diesel. The Tundra just felt more comfortable, more powerful and it has the highest EPA mileage rating between the three brands. I've put a tank through it and so far I'm actually getting 17 mpg with the upgraded larger wheels. That's the same mileage as the Xterra I was driving with a V6 in it.

I don't really get into the ford/chevy/dodge fight, but I bought a new dodge this year, first new vehicle ever. 30 mpg, average 25 mpg, full size four door, travel moto time. Really enjoying it.

The gauge in the truck. It has a average and a current mpg. Not sure about the other dodge trucks, but my v6 1500 has a ECO mode that I assumed it kicks out a few cylinders to get the mpg gain at constant speeds.

Hmm..

I have an F150 with a 3.7L V6, it will get 21-23 mpg on the hwy all day if it's flat and I stay under 75. Start hitting stop lights, hills, or a stiff breeze and it drops big time. The gauge in my truck is not "optimistic" like many are and I've verified it with calculations many times

25 mpg avg is amazing to say the least.

Yeah I hear ya.

They advertise 25 hwy, but it does better than that in my area, mostly flat. If I do 60 mph and a squirrel farts the mpg gauge will change. But yeah 25 average for my use.

It says it's in Sussex but it's not far from where you're saying.

Yeah, open practice all weekends now and they are really trying to make the place nice.

Not sure what the Toyota says their mpg's are but the only way I'll agree to track mpg's is to divide the mileage by the number of gallons you put in. EPA is full of shit. I guess they test in a wind tunnel. I've only seen a couple of trackers on trucks and they weren't all that accurate. Do you track mileage between tanks and then divide that by how many gallons you put in? I'd be curious to hear what that number is.

Didn't feel like making my own thread for this, here's a lap from Albany. We're not the fastest or anything, but we were having a ton of fun despite the shadows. I'm out front on the CR250 and it's kinda hard to hear my bike but oh well. Killer day!!
