I have an F150 with a 3.7L V6, it will get 21-23 mpg on the hwy all day if it's flat and I stay under 75. Start hitting stop lights, hills, or a stiff breeze and it drops big time. The gauge in my truck is not "optimistic" like many are and I've verified it with calculations many times

25 mpg avg is amazing to say the least.
same here bro.

except my ecoboost kicks ass between 75 and 82. i get closer to 24 at those speeds. i drop from 74 to 60 and it guzzles the gas. through town i'm lucky to stay above 15. my area is very hilly/mountains. definitely not the economy saver they advertise, but easily the best power of any half-ton i've driven/tested. i pull my 24' boat loaded over the sisters in Wyoming (steep ass hills) and i can hit the speed governor if i want to push it. my last V8 ford struggled to pull 70 up them.

Or XS750...

I'm kinda liking the direction the kids are going: it's about the "build" & just riding with their buds.

Gives me hope that they "get it".

Yeah for sure, hopefully the weather stays this beautiful by Sunday, we're trying to go again.

I appreciate riding my dirtbike more than ever these days. I'm not the fastest (as you can see) and my fitness is pretty low but damn I have so much fun. This GoPro video actually helped a little, I can learn from it. I just get to ride about once every other week so half my day is spent getting comfortable again. By then, I'm kinda tired lol

I raced an Enduro this weekend. It had been a year since my last race. Finished 29 out of 45 bikes that ended the race in my class. There were two enduro test plus the rallye which I had to do two laps. I n the first enduro test I had the 14th best lap, in the sencond one a guy felt in front of me and I had to kick the bike several times and then I fell in the second to last turn, it was a slow turn so I got up quick but this fucked my time in the special. I had fun!!!

Eco boost would have been sick, I am pretty stoked on the little v6.. perfect for what I do.

I noticed in that vid that I kinda short shift. I think it's because I'm on such a budget and doing my own repairs haha I figure watching the revs might add a few hours of engine life. But now that I watch this and hear the snappyness ofEvil that CR smoker , I just wanna wring it's neck. Evil

We rode Durhamtown Telico, NC this weekend. It was the 2nd RSVP test run they've done to see if the park is worth reopening. It was cold, wet & rocky!!!

I was talking to the owner since he was there all weekend at the check in house about it & from what he was saying is that he will be opening it again. Sounded like sooner than later. He was talking about all the narly single track they will be cutting out. There was only 40miles of new roads & keep trails cut out for this past weekend. It was all geared for jeeps mostly. We were 4 of 15 bikes that signed up. This area isn't the old Telico, it's a new section, so we were a bit confused once we showed up. It has a lot of potential though, so it should be good next year. Lots of hills, rocks, creeks, waterfalls & even a plane crash way up on the mountain. 2 ponds to. Follow their "durhamtown Telico" Fb page for updates.

4 people died in 99 when they hit the side of the mountain. It's in such a remote area, ins co didn't even come pick their plane up!! It's on the park map & part of one of the trails. It's called "plane crash" on the map & there's a sign at the beginning of the trail to get up to it. You have to hike way down to get to it. It on a steep slope. Almost didn't make it back up. Dirt bike boots & a 12/12 pitch doesn't mix...
