Thanks for embedding it Scottie Smile

Anyone else think it's strange that Bogle is there considering he's not a RedBull sponsored rider whereas all the others are?

Wow, this should be an event like Monster Energy Cup. A tournament 1 vs 1 where the winner goes to the next round. Put the track in New York (or something less ambitious) or something and it should be awesome!

I really would like to see more! I still think Villopoto would win though ...

This style of racing will favor JS7 for his creativity. It will be rough for the Dunge cause relies on his corner speed. The flat out talent will rise to the top.

Red Bull are really trying to come up with some new concepts,I think it's pretty cool to be honest, and loved what I could see of the Red Bull give me Five race too, that was awesome,

I bet they incorporate this with the "5" race next year, the 2 have some very similar straights, fast, high paced and short, shootout format Smile

This is fucking awesome!!

On a side note, I think some local tracks should replicate this.. albeit, a bike size or more between the sides lol... But that could be so much fun from the local level all the way up.

It seriously reminded me of bmx racing in away, Just 1 lap... as hard as you can go.

I see huge potential in this.

Red Bull always comes up with some cool one off stuff and events. They push their athletes and allow them to give their ideas an outlet to actually happen.

Monster on the other hand.........

This is awesome and an evolution of our sport. Look at all the different type of car racing there is. I'd love to see this mixed into supercross like once a season. Tracks are getting boring we need variety, perhaps a track that is a big square all rhythm lanes so only four corners could be cool as well. Who knows but I applaud the creativity.

what else has monster done besides the mec cup.... Dont worry ill wait.

Red Bull
- Give me 5
-The new years ish
- Straight line speed
- Space Jump
- Trying to backflip a trophy truck
- Pastranas no parachute jump (It didn't give em wings either)

anyway, RedBull Kicks Monsters ass in everyway possible....

I personally wish redbull, had the sx series vs monster, but that is a whole other debacle.

That was cool to watch, and shows yet another great RB marketing score for innovation.

Not sure how it could (or would) relate to any multiple round event like SX or MX, but as a once a year big $$ showdown it would be awesome.

And I will add:

Red Bull Rampage
Red Bull Signature Series (which has around 10 different events)
Red Bull Joy Ride.

Red Bull has so many events its not even funny. They have a lot of Moto events and one race from Monster doesn't even compare.

For growth and progression, the Red Bull events are by far the best around.

Redbull Air Race
Redbull Romainiacs
Redbull X-Fighters
Redbull X-Alps
Redbull Hill Chasers
Redbull Cliff Diving
Redbull Flugtag
Redbull Soap box
Redbull Supernatural Snowboarding comp
Redbull Break Dancing comp
Redbull F1 Team

...etc.

My old man was on a climbing holiday in the Italian Alps a few years ago and came across two guys making a particularly difficult ascent all on their own. They were miles from civilisation, yet at the base of the climb stood a Redbull flag. Its those kind of little things that differentiate Redbull from the other energy drink brands.

I've said this...then again most moto heads have probably said this; There is no faster way to get across the ground from point A to point B on most of earth's dry surfaces than on a motorcycle. I think it would be a kick ass concept to include a wide open set of rules and based off time or maybe seperation of set tracks run 2 wheelers against the 4...or hell even 6 wheelers. It would grow exposure to many motor heads just as when Malcom and other moto bretheren started dishing out wins in Baja.

Coolness! I wonder why nobody thought of this earlier?

Cool shot by Garth Milan from Red Bull's site.

A Ryan Dungey turndown? Straight Rhythm has it all

You know it's a special event when Ryan Dungey is throwing turndowns. And yes, that's his takeoff in the photo. He cracked this one past 90 degrees, like a champ.

Interested to see where this goes.

I've read that red bull prefers to have control over its events, that's why they are not a title sponsor of established series , rather they put on many of their own events. Its also why many times they sponsor individual athletes instead of teams (KTM teams are a special exception). Personally I like the redbull approach as they really have the freedom to be more creative with what they do. Of course I like my series to stay rather old school in format too so thanks to monster for providing money and not screwing up supercross.

Horrible idea from a spectator watching the event at the venue , unless they put in the megajumbothron, you would see maybe 50 yards... now if the whole stands move on rails with the riders..... huge thumbs up
