Jeff is a nice guy and does try hard but not the brightest buld in the chandalier at times.

His Unadilla comentary was horrible. At the second corner Stewart had a two bike length lead and Jeff said "Stewart has opened up a COMMANDING lead.

Little too much bong resin upstairs from his prior years possibly.

I'm not sure you could expect him to have a clue what a CZ , Bultaco or Montessa looks like? He probably started riding about 10 years after the last of any of these three were being sold?

He'd have to be one of those unusual guys that actually takes an interest in the history of the sport, and from what I've seen, he doesn't seem like that kind of a guy.

Yeah but the guy's a National Champion and does the color on a the only real tv coverage MX/SX gets. It would be like an F-15 pilot not knowing what an F-100 was.
It's not like it was some obscure brand. He needs to know his history.

You guys are tough. I am 49. Started racing moto in 1974 on a Suzuki TM 125 than 35 years of Hondas. Point being I never took in interest in the Euro bikes and unless I was up close to something from that era wouldn't know either. Give Jeff a break!

Fro certainly isn't helping the tv broadcast, but he's just one of many problems.... the entire telecast is just horrific... i eat, breathe, and shit mx, yet even i don't want to watch the races due to how terrible the broadcasts are.... about 45 minutes after commercials.... only about half of only one moto is shown.... wayyyy too much b.s. fluff..... terrible camera placement and editing..... commentating is the worst EVER, from any genre..... only train-wreck going that i don't care to watch......

The most shocking thing is that Emig didn't even know what brand of tires were on that bike, or what brand of football helmet Gibbs had on - what a stoned asshole he is, he should be banned for life from AMA events!!

I've been racing mx since 1976, and I sure didnt know what POS euro bike that was from glancing at it for 5 seconds. I'm sure he knows what a CZ is, but he is focused on the race they are running TODAY, not some old brown photo

Some of you guys sure do love to pick on anyone and everyone for the shittiest little thing.

This place is a waste of time anymore...

Just another case of motoboards being ripped for content.

Racer x is constantly using the stuff from motoboards for content in their rag.
