Most deserving of a ride for 2014...

Edited Date/Time 7/23/2013 10:09pm
Phil Nicoletti and Weston Peick need to be picked up by a big team next year!!! I don't care who picks them up but they deserve to be picked up by someone. To mix it up with the factory stars on a weekly basis and beat some of them on a regular basis on lesser equipment.... Give them a ride!!!!

Before I even opened this thread.....these two names popped into my head.

Weston Peick

Phil Nicoletti

but lets not forget about Metcalfe either. He still proved at southwick that he can "Bring it".

What are the statuses of the PC riders? With the results this season, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mitch "clean house" and start over.

Hill and AC have put in pretty solid rides, i would think mitch can see the potential in those two and keep em around. As for the rest i could see them looking for rides (huge DD fan hope he stays but i just cant see that happening)

Peick has to be the most deserving of a ride IMO.
Great results.
Great attitude.
Great all around moto family for support...

Who wouldn't love to see Derek Anderson signed to a team? The guy seems to have the drive to continuously improve each time he's out there.

Weston for sure. He has turned a lot of heads with his rides this year. Just put him on Reed's team so they can keep locking up like always on the practice track. Odds are if they are even practicing in the same state they will manage to find each other on the track anyways. Might as well just pit together. Laughing

I didn't mention Malcolm because I figured TLD may keep him around. I can't think of one good reason why they would let him go to an open market. I'm a big Mookie fan!

Please TLD sign this kid!

I'd love to see Strijbos or Desalle over here racing still. They impressed the hell out of me when they raced here earlier this year.

Agreed that Peick deserves a ride out of the riders here already.

Regarding Phil Nicoletti, he has a ride with a factory supported Yamaha team with a big rig. They run as close to factory Enzo suspension there is with TI hardware all over and a Brown motorsports motor. In my humble opinion that is a pretty good ride, and is not in need of another ride.

Weston Peick has worked his way into a position where he should be on a short list of 450's teams.

Lets not forget Thompson! He killed it at Gopher, beat Metty there. From what I heard from Kyle Keast's mechanic (I work with him) Thompson walked on everyone and Kyle and Metty were dicing it up like crazy! Good to see a local boy up there with a former factory rider. But if Thompson can beat both those guys at a track like Gopher where Kyle and Brett are both so good then I think he deserves a good long look from a few teams.

Josh hill hands down. Won a heat race, posted top five lap times in practice the last few super crosses. Someone better sign him for 2014. He's only gonna get better

I agree with you about Phil having a pretty good ride. However I do not think he has a salary. I also do not think his bike has the full titanium fastener kit etc. His suspension does appear to be working pretty well but I dont necessarily think his bike is as good as some of the others either.....

Also to the guy who posted about Hill and AC at P.C. A.C. has 4 years left on his P.C. contract as he signed a 5 year deal last year.

I would like to see Peick, Anderson, Jesse Wentland, Austin Politelli and a whole bunch of other guys get rides!

Cool about Thompson but I think he has quite a bit to prove here before he lands a good ride...

Not 100% on this.....but I did hear that Josh may very well be back at RCH for the SX season. Maybe a year by year thing and SX only. Josh is awesome and I love that kid! He's great in SX and i think if he wants to prolong hos career .....he will stay out of the nationals and let that leg be the best it can be. The nationals would just tear him up I think. ( the leg I mean ).
