If so Jimmy Albertson's bike that was out here at a local track had Townley on the hubs so probably his ride.

In Lierop he would beat all those guy inc bubba.

Top 3 will probably be Stewart De Reuver Ferry maybe Ferry in 2nd if De Reuver has a bad start or crashes.

I think he will run in to problems but hope he gets a top 3.

I agree, Mark is also a character so we have something interesting to think about.

However, its hard to come over here and do well right away, just like it's hard to run well over there for us.

The bike is probably way different,
His suspension may work well for euro tracks, but he may be better off running Townley’s set up.
different food,
different climate.

Imagine if Ferry went over there for one race in MX1.

It's fun to speculate, but 6-8th is probably generous.

1. Stewart (by over 1 minute)
2. Short
3. Ferry
4. Deruever
5. Byrne
6. Cooper
7. Hill
8. Tedesco
9. Hepler
10-40 satalite/privateer riders
Stewart by over 1 minute?? Are you retarded?Blink

I'm excited to have a new face in the mix, and as much as I'd love to see him podium (and I'm almost certain he would on his GP bike), but on a new bike, against unfamiliar competition, I think he'll go 7-4 or thereabouts

I would like to see Ferry or Bubba come over and race a GP in either Holland or italy they will be coming over anyway and have no championship commitment that would be very cool!! And dont give me anything about the schedule because Stewart has only rode 14 races this year

I bet the sandman goerke will beat him after that good ride at Millville last weekend. Goerke showed he could ride in the sand at his first race there.

Wouldn't that be cool if the whole Team USA came to Faenza. Lierop would be fun too, might be a little more in favor of the euro's there, although Faenza is pretty old school euro racing.

In one moto, where the other top guys went down.

Apart from last weekend, he has 'barely' won by more than 30 seconds. Maybe once or twice all season.

I would say if James was pushing it he could win by 2 minutes.

I'm a huge de Reuver fan but i think top 3 will be really hard with one weeks prep. Top 10 surely achievable though? I hope Marc does podium, even if it's just to see Erin Bates' face when she can't get the mic off him.

If he does podium you're not going to hear about his tyres hooking up real good or any other scripted crap that comes out of the robots.....

Whatever place he gets i hope he has fun and the fans appreciate his appearance, motocross needs more characters like him.

He backs off on the last lap of every race, those guys catch up. He's gapped the feild by much more than 30 seconds multiple times this season.

I hope he does good, I think its awesome he's comin over. I think the odds are certainly in his favor with the injury status of our series this year. I have not been able to follow the Gp's this year, but, I think its awesome that we get to see a new rider in the mix.

I wish we had 1 or 2 more events where we as fans could see all the worlds top talent on one track.

And you're full of crap Geoff. Don't pull you're game of silly insults unless you want game on.

What did I say that was negative? I haven't done anything but give Marc props. I think he's going to do really well Sunday if nothing cuts against him. He's definitely got a chance for the podium.

If you're referring to my response to McCread, that's a response to McCread, who manages to outdo even you for outlandish statements. And, yes, anyone that thinks that Stewart is going to be beaten anywhere by any rider currently active is high.

I have no interest in starting RC/Everts comparisons; those guy's aren't active.

Lets examine this, Marc is 10th OA GP's 200 Points behind the leaders only won 1 moto and that was on his own turf / sand and McCread thinks he can run with James who only the greatest of both series ever has matched his speed ?

Judging from Marcs stats I would say if he top 10's that would be better than his average.

Top 10 in the championship that’s true but on ruff sand tracks he is top 3 in Europe for sure. strijbos, the dycker and ramon are good sand riders too. But if de reuver stays on 2 wheels he is the fastest sand rider in Europe.
Championship standings mean nothing when de reuver is riding sand.

If stays on 2 wheels and has decent starts I think he can make the podium.

Sorry, but ...

This year (in 450F), top 10 level in Europe has nothing in common with top 10 in USA ...

Has he gotten many Holeshots this season (in the GP's)?

I really want to see him nail a hole shot and see where he fares against Stewarts speed. It should be good.

You will do good. I hope you , Ferry and short all start up front at the same time that way we get to see some good battles. Or maybe you should hit stewarts killswitch on the line if you qualify good enough so we can see him come through the entire field in half a moto again. Wink

Must be nice to have a factory honda on both sides of the pond. Just stay up and you'll do fine. Anywhere in the top 10 is good, I don't care who's injured and a lot of guys just came back too.
