Actually, it was me. Now, before you go all "Scooter, that's fuckin badASS man!" on me, that didn't start out as a scrub. It was a failed attempt at a whip. My first one, which didn't turn out as planned. I wasn't actually looking for a photog in that second shot, but for the Red Cross banner. I knew I'd need it. The upside was there was no one with a camera on the FAR side, either. To see my bike land 7 times on the downslope, and me in the next county. Now you know.

PS: Thanks for the well wishes, no broken bones, just a lot of road rash. I need new handlebars, too.

In the second pic you are too high. You should drag the peg into the ground, like this guy (anybody knows who this is? Looks like a 3 digit number so the guy must not be that good. I'm thinking he probably biffed too)
That way you are closer to the ground when you fall. And the peg dragging slows you down too, so you hurt yourself less.

Anyone see this one in another thread, very impressive given the sharp face of the jump, that's a footpeg scraper and his hand is virtually scraping the floor!

It's not, that's So Cal, brah! As a washed up never was, I reserve the right to go anywhere on my days off work, crash my brains out, and make a total fool of myself. That's the beauty of workin' in the oilpatch. Do my time in, fly out to exotic destinations and engage in my passion. After tearin' up the tracks, I hang out at poolside, all ripped and tanned, sip on Mai Tai's and wow the babes with tales of my prowess on a scooter. (All while praying no one actually was AT the the track that day.)

Hey Jamie, don't get your knickers in a knot. I think ol' mj was giving me some extra advice on how to scrub. Wink Apparently, he thought I needed some additional help, he felt watching Richies video was insufficient fro me. I'd be inclined to agree.

Who is it?

This actually looks like a rider that noticed he was leaving the face really early and started whipping after he noticed he could clear it. It doesn't look like a scrub... it just looks like a bad ass whip at a really low trajectory over the top. Whatever it actually is, I can't do either... so mad props on that.

Does no one else think that these pictures look like MX Simulator or a video game?

Listen here bub. Something like this does not happen AFTER you are in the air already.

Something like this is laid over well before the bike leaves the ground.
