I gotta agree with you guys. Mike had an awesome race last weekend. With me being up here in the NW , I kind of have to support RV. But I actually have a lot of favorite riders.....some are guys I knew since they were really young ( Josh and Justin Hill , Ben Lamay , Kevin Rookstool and a bunch of others ). I honestly wasn't a fan of Mike's at all up until just this past couple years. But man.....the dude is an animal on the bike , tries extremely hard and basically just loves this racing shit. He's been quite , humble , and kept his nose to the grind stone and always pushes hard......how can you not dig that out of a rider?

Good luck with the rest of the season Mike and team MCR!

10 years ago RV was the underdog..crazy how times change. i remember them coming up like it was yesterday

They don't show him much but it appears as if he's stopped that looking behind him all the time. He seems to be looking ahead at his next pass for position instead of behind at who may be trying to pass him. Definitely a more offensive style of riding now instead of defensive.

He had matured and is a good representative for the sport.

Not long ago some asshole would have came on here and responded to this post, I didn't think alessi was the hype". I've had great respect for the brothers since they were on Honda 85's. At LL's they would come by and pick up my nephew almost everyday. He had a blast, my nephew also teamed with Emig in the cook off that year. Thanks to those Alessi boys my nephew who is the same age as them has some great childhood memories.

The thing I like most about Mike is that outdoor MX is his core. He has been hard to figure out at times but he sure as heck seems to bring it every Saturday in the summer. I would enjoy seeing him grab a moto win at some point this year.

Maybe Suzuki is mad about last year when they refused to run Suzuki stickers . I do understand why they didn't run em but could be payback who knows .
